Hello, coffee lovers around the world!
I recently participated in an event called the “1st Meeting of the Cuban Guitar School” at the Convention Palace (PALCO). The event was great. However, to my pleasant surprise, we were able to enjoy delicious coffee the entire time.
I say “to my surprise” because I was worried I'd go those two days of the event without any coffee. We were there all day, and PALCO is quite far from the nearest coffee shops.
However, thanks to the organizers, I never went without my cortado.
The place is incredible. It's beautiful, I have no other word for it. It's such a pleasure to sit in these seats and enjoy the beauty of the place.
They've created a space to enjoy coffee next to an artificial river, with fountains, fish, wooden bridges, and lots of natural vegetation.
Plus, the natural lighting is amazing.
A barista serves us the coffee we want. We just need to approach the table and order it. She prepares it for us instantly.
Between conferences, we were able to enjoy our hot coffee. To top it off, we could choose which brand or type of coffee we wanted to try.
Needless to say, the best part of being in this place, with so much good coffee, was being able to enjoy it with my husband and good friends.
Since he doesn't like cortados, he ordered espresso, strong and with sugar. Oh, and he gave me the cookies.
He says I enjoy them more than he does, and that pleases him a lot.
And there's nothing like a good group of friends, talking about music, projects, and enjoying a magnificent coffee in the meantime.
I highly recommend that anyone who can get near PALCO try this beautiful café. Just sitting here is incredibly relaxing. So imagine doing it with a cup of coffee in your hands... It's paradise.

Hola, amantes del café alrededor del mundo.
Recientemente participé en un evento llamado “1er encuentro de la Escuela de la Guitarra Cubana”, en el Palacio de las Convenciones (PALCO). El evento estuvo muy bueno. Sin embargo, para mí grata sorpresa, en todo momento pudimos disfrutar de un delicioso café.
Digo, para mi sorpresa, porque temía estar esos dos días de evento sin poder tomar café. Estábamos allá todo el día y el PALCO queda muy alejado de las cafeterías más cercanas.
No obstante, gracias a los organizadores, nunca me faltó mi cortadito.
El lugar es increíble. Es hermoso, no tengo otra palabra. Da un gusto enorme poder sentarnos en estos asientos y disfrutar de la belleza del lugar.
Han creado un espacio para disfrutar del café, junto a un río artificial, con fuentes, peces, puentes de madera y mucha vegetación natural.
Además, la iluminación natural es increíble.
Una barista nos sirve el café que deseemos. Solo necesitamos acercarnos a e la mesa y pedirlo. Ella nos lo prepara al instante.
Entre conferencia y conferencia pudimos disfrutar de nuestra taza de café caliente. Para colmo, podíamos elegir qué marca o tipo de café queríamos probar.
De más está decir que lo mejor de estar en este lugar y con tanto buen café, era poder disfrutarlo con mi esposo y con buenos amigos.
Él, como no le gusta el cortadito, pidió el café expreso, fuerte y con azúcar. Ah, y las galletitas me las regaló.
Dice que yo las disfruto más que él y eso a él le complace mucho.
Y nada como un buen grupo de amigos, hablando de música, de proyectos y disfrutando de un magnífico café mientras tanto.
Les recomiendo a todo el que pueda acercarse a PALCO, que pruebe esta hermosura de cafetería. El solo hecho de poder sentarse aquí, es extremadamente relajante. Así que imagínense hacerlo teniendo una taza de café entre las manos...
Es el paraíso.
