Coffee Fair in Barquisimeto Venezuela | Feria de Cafe en Barquisimeto Venezuela | Eng-Esp

Barquisimeto is a city surrounded by coffee growing mountains. It is also an important center of food commerce in the region.

On this occasion the mayor's office organized an event that brought together producers, processors, traders, consumers and coffee lovers.

Barquisimeto es una ciudad que esta rodeada de montañas cafetaleras. Ademas de ser un centro de comercio de alimentos importante en la región.

En esta ocasión la alcaldía organizo un evento que reunió a productores, procesadores, comerciantes, consumidores y amantes del cafe.

I attended with a group of friends who are coffee lovers just like me. Besides it was an event where we met many people who share the same interest.... >Asistí con un grupo de amigos que son amantes del cafe igual que yo.. Ademas de que fue un evento donde nos encontramos muchas personas que comparten el mismo interes....

I honestly don't know how many coffees we drank, besides there were all kinds of coffees. There was a barista competition, which unfortunately I didn't catch because I got distracted and forgot about it... hahaha. In the picture above you can see that there was a representation of a giant mocha and a cup of coffee. There were too many people and I couldn't take a good picture of it....

Sinceramente no se cuantos cafe llegamos a tomar, ademas que habian de todo tipo.
Hubo una competencia de baristas, que lastimosamente no capte por que me entretuve y se me olvido... jajaja
En la imagen de arriba se puede ver que habia una representación de una moca gigante y una taza de cafe. Habia demasiada gente y no pude en ningun momento tomarle una buena foto...

No solo habia cafe, este mundo esta tambien muy ligado al cacao. Se presentaron propuestas muy buenas de cacao en presentaciones para preparaciones de bebidas. Una de las que probé y mi favorita, fue de cacao, cafe y menta.

In Venezuelan lands, the festive, creative and friendly atmosphere is inevitable. Each exhibition had its peculiar and unique characterization.

En tierras venezolanas es inevitable el ambiente festivo, creativo y amigable. Cada exposición tenia su caracterización peculiar y única.

At the end of the day, local groups performed and animated a large part of the night. It is interesting that in the fairs in the city the tendency is usually to sell beer, but not in this one. The beer business did not really do well. Rather, the whole community was very interested in coffee. It was really a party...

Al finalizar el dia, se presentaron grupos locales que animaron gran parte de la noche.
Es interesante que en las ferias en la ciudad la tendencia suele ser la venta de cerveza, en esta no. Realmente no le fue bien al negocio de la cerveza. Sino que toda la comunidad estaba muy interesada en el cafe. Fue realmente una fiesta...
