Bangladesh became independent at 16 december, 1971 after nine months brutal war against then Pakistani army. We still become afraid when we hear about the genocide they wrote on Bangladeshi during freedom war. The war started at 26 march, 1971 when the greatest leader of freedom war and the former President of independent Bangladesh Sheikh Mujibur Rahman declared that Bangladesh is independent from now. And from then, the war last for nine month. In this period Pakistani army killed thousands of Bangladeshi general people.
There were many army camp in every corners of whole Bangladesh then. And the Pakistani army arrested Bangladeshi people, brought them to camp and killed them beside the camp. In 1971, Shaheed Samsuzzoha Hall of Rajshahi University was the army camp for Pakistani army in this area. They wrote a big genocide in this area from here. To inform more that now I am a residential student of Shaheed Samsuzzoha Hall.
As there are a lot of history of our freedom war with this hall, every year in november, our hall authority celebrates some rituals. This year they have decided to stage a drama on the genocide the Pakistani army wrote then here. And the drama will be staged here in our hall.
As it is the time of examination of different part of honours of various department, so many residential students of this hall have to face some problems because of this celebration. Many students opposed it in this time. But the authority didn't here us. It is very regrating.
Anyway, we faced some problems, but this is a good step to focus on the oppression of our freedom war. We have to know enough about it. Thanks to everyone.
