It's no news that some parts and areas in Nigeria are now experiencing the harmattan. Although, some parts are still experiencing the raining season, some parts like Lagos State which is still experiencing a heavy rainfall. Maybe because of the geographical location of Lagos State which is located in South-west of Nigeria with state like Kwara State geographically located in thr North central part of Nigeria, where I reside to be precised, has already left behind the raining season, heading towards the harmattan period proper.

During the harmattan period, there are some changes that will happen because but usually comes withe dry cold and dust, that's the period you sill observe that living and non-living things becoming dry. Weeds and plants become dry without hope of regaining strength as their leaf withers away. This is the period that everybody including Men and Woman, going about with their lips becoming dried off. This is the period that Human being sweat less and urinate less because of the harmattan period.

So because it's Harmattan period, it's advisable to stay hydrated because our body asks for more of water than anything. There are signs and symptoms of someone who doesn't drink water very during harmattan;their skin become dry, they urinate less, most time their urine might turn yellow, dry lips etc. In lieu of this, the bet is to make sure that one is hydrated always. And one of the ways to stay hydrated is having a bottle of water at your disposal. It's just a way to make sure you have easy access to water to stay hydrated.
