  • The stain on the painting art
  • the stain on the painting digital art
  • the stain on the pixel art
  • the stain on the pixel digital art

*Art allows the expansion of language, its own language and that of the culture.

Within pictorial work, the stain is a simple example of how painting went from being figurative to abstract. A leap in the perception of what painting was, what was beautiful or art.

Currently the stain is a widely used resource, especially as a concept of the work itself.

Let us remember Kandinsky, this man not only composed from stains, but also included music as a resource for painting. His paintings were interpretations of what the music he liked looked like.

The stain is a space of impression, character and spontaneity, which is opposed to the line and the figurative composition.

Now, the stain on Digital art? Exists? And I am not referring to the work of abstraction of an image, but to the action as a resource, we can see it more clearly in a painting, when the brush seeks to stain the canvas.

I set to the task of asking Google about the stain on Digital art. And look what I found, I put several image searches:
-The stain in pixel art
-the stain on the painting art
-the stain on the painting digital art
-the stain on the pixel art
-the stain on the pixel digital art

And this is what I found:

There are works that have to do with painting pixels and recreating something figurative from there, others explore geometry and color, others abstraction in digital painting or the brush in Digital painting.

The stain as an expression and conceptualization of digital painting, I think I haven't found them yet. If anyone knows background on this topic, please share, I will gladly read it.

It is somewhat complicated, literally making spots with a mouse or on a touch pad, the algorithms always handle a predesigned trend, like a Fibonacci formula, they always generate shape trends.
How, then, to achieve improvisation, the random possibilities provided by splashing a bit of ink on a piece of paper and developing any imaginary from that stain? How can pixels be stained?

Hive is a window to multiple communities, and in the arts it is a field that is always expanding thanks to all the great and varied work that each artist does.

Thanks to this I have found myself with the challenge of making myself known, from a constantly growing field Digital art, specifically digital painting and in my personal case, the stain on digital painting.

I want to share with you this process, my process, which is in constant experimentation, and which shows part of a work of investigating my being from color, it is worth delimiting spontaneous color.

Here I leave you an exercise of stains. Personally, I see the stain as the threshold between form and formlessness, because even though the stain can be very abstract, the mind always seeks to give order and meaning to what it sees, and from that search a universe of possibilities is born.
