Hola hivers, la gaita es un género musical que nació en mi estado natal el Zulia, fue declarada patrimonio de Venezuela y cuando se acercan las fiestas navideñas se escuchan en la mayoría de las emisora de radio de mi querida ciudad. No podía dejar de participar en esta iniciativa de @yolimarag para mencionar mis 3 gaitas favoritas.

Existen una gran variedad de gaitas, pero mis preferidas son esas que llaman gaitas románticas. Hoy voy a seleccionar tres gaitas que en este momento considero que son las que más me gustan por su letra, melodía y porque las relaciono con un recuerdo especial.

Esta gaita la canta Ingrid Alexandrescu del grupo Élite Gaitera, me gusta porque tiene una letra muy bonita y me recuerda mis años de novia con ahora esposo Rafael. También me recuerda aquellas noches de fiesta con mis amigos donde la escuchábamos a menudo.

Esta gaita es del cantautor Neguito Borjas con el grupo Coquivacoa y se llama Sin Rencor. Aunque es una de esas gaita corta venas, ya que trata sobre la culminación de una relación.

Para finalizar la tercera y última pero no menos importante es la gaita Canto a la Vida, del desaparecido grupo Montuno, esta gaita es cantada por Milton Pereira, recuerdo que esta gaita la escuché ya casi terminando la primaria y luego se siguió escuchando por muchos años más. Me recuerda principalmente los años en el liceo y aquellas parrandas que se hacían allí y cuando las ponían en las fiestas todas las chicas las cantábamos a viva voz.
