On a bad day, I like to eat ice cream; on a good day, I like to indulge on some really delicious gelato. In our place, there are only a few selling some good gelato. Perhaps, the most common is Gelatissimo. For locals, The Buzz Bee Farm (see: The Buzz Cafe). But today's feature is a new discovery of mine which I just recently tried, the Giardino Gelato.
Like other gelato shops, this pop up also give free taste to customers for them to determine what flavor to choose. However, they give out metal non-disposable spoons to use. I'd like to believe this is a strategy so that customers will least likely ask for a second free taste. And it worked for us. One taste of ube and chocolate flavor, we're sold!
During this time, we were just looking for a place to hang out for a bit and luckily, they have a few seats available in the counter. Oh what a lovely feeling it is to just sit around and eat some good gelato. The consistency was really thick and creamy. And the aesthetic of the place is refreshing to the eye. Although, I hope they would expand the place in the future and turn it into a real cafe since their concept is really promising.
I've been having severe coughs lately but this doesn't stop me from eating my favorite sweets. Evidently, im a natural sweet tooth. Next time, i'd like to try their cookies n' cream or double dutch flavor, or some other weird flavor. My goal in every restaurant is to always try their new menu and this philosophy applies to gelato too.
"I Scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!"
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
