COVID-19 MASKUP - Telos4africa

in GEMS5 years ago (edited)

After staying indoor for more than 30 days, the lockdown that was enforced by the government so as to secure lives has been eased down a little bit, though there are still rules to be kept. The excitement of people after they heard that they could now go back to their normal lives from the 4th of may really showed that they've been enduring all those while they've been indoor.

How was Life like for me During the Lockdown?

I must say that I wasn't the only one who felt that way but it was really terrible because a way of life that I wasn't used to showed up from no where. Imagine staying at a place from morning till night without going out. There was no social gathering anymore that we all are used, no church services and worse of all, the economy came cramping down. Way of life became even more expensive as a result of the isolation. Everyone now became a suspect to each other because you weren't sure who had the virus or not but interestingly, we were not kept in the dark concerning the pandemic. At least, we were all given measures on how we could protect ourselves and I ensured I practiced everyone of it which were;

  • Avoiding crowded places, maintaining a distance of at least 2 meters from everybody. In other words, SOCIAL DISTANCING

  • Washing your hands regularly with soap and water.

  • Using of alcoholic based hand sanitizers.

  • Wearing of FaceMask.

With the Lockdown been eased down a little by the Federal Government of Nigeria by allowing business run from between 9.00am till 5.00pm and some few other activities, it could be assumed that alot of people might stop following these measures and to ensure that it's always a constant reminder to all, TELOS4AFRICA came up with this challenge which is Telos4africa Says #MASKUP. This challenge is only reminding we all to put in place the proper measures especially not going anywhere without your Hand Sanitizer and FACEMASK since the facemask covers both your nose and mouth which are the places our hands are always likely to touch.

It is very important that we all stay safe because there's still hope at the end of the tunnel. We shall win this fight and also the WAR!

I'm Edd, and not the Tail and I'm saying STAY SAFE!
