The Wajdi blouse is a traditional female dress spread in the east region of the Kingdom of Morocco, especially in the city of Oujda, and the blouse is a fabric in which the dress is sewn to which the embroidered chest is added, encrusted with colored stones and filled with agate. It is a dress similar to the Oran (Algeria) blouse , which reflects the depth of the cultural and creative tributaries of women in this region since ancient times. The blouse is influenced by the multiple Andalusian migrations, especially the migration that took place after the expulsion of the Moriscos from Spain and their concentration in the region, as is evident in the name of this dress Blusee (in Spanish: blusa ), In addition to the Turkish Ottoman presence in the central Maghreb, which also left its mark in the traditions of the region. The city of Oujda annually hosts a special festival for the blouse, which aims to "give a national radiance to the blouse dress" and develop it to keep pace with the times and fashion, with a view to facilitating its marketing as it is a "special heritage of oriental women."
