This picture wasn't edited so the lighting came out naturally magical. Frost has it's beauty. It might not be immediately visible, but all of the surface was frozen and the water ran below.
A closer look on another part of the stream where the freezing occurred closer to the shore.
The house today.
At least we got lots of hours of sunshine which helps to cheer our souls.
We want to live here soon and it will be hard to finish everything during winter so we'll just cover the open spots with plastic in the meanwhile.
There you have it. -12° C.
Hey there friends of Liketu and Hive, we share with you some pictures of how things are looking like in southern Chile where we are literally freezing our asses off. Check out the last image of the post where you can see that we're experiencing -12° C (source is Accuweather.com). The water from the stream, though frozen, is still running and looks cleaner than ever, which is nice.
We keep warm by gathering firewood and keeping the stove burning through the day while we try and make some progress on the house, but night comes pretty early and we must run like the devil is chasing. For the night, we depend on sharing our human warmth and lots of cuddling :P
If you also live in a cold weather, then much strength to endure to all of you. And those in warm climates, we'll control our envy heheheh. Have a good one.
