Yesterday, after I finished my workday, I decided to go for a short run of about 2 km. I'm getting old and I need to exercise to keep my mind and body healthy and to ward off illness. After the run, I met up with an old friend called Jonhatta, who was feeding three kittens with kibble and sachets. For these abandoned cats, that's a real feast. While they ate, I took some photos of the three hungry felines and took the opportunity to catch up with my friend.

These cats depend on donations from other people to feed themselves, but many of them are riddled with disease. The only concern is that they don't starve on the streets. There is a small non-governmental organization (NGO) that receives donations of money and food. Unfortunately, these animals are the result of people abandoning them, which is why we have an infestation of abandoned cats in this region. Ontem, depois que terminei meu expediente de trabalho, resolvi fazer uma pequena corrida de aproximadamente 2 km de distância. Eu estou ficando velho e preciso fazer exercício para manter a mente e o corpo saudáveis, além de afastar as doenças. Após o término da corrida, encontrei um velho amigo chamado Jonhatta, que estava alimentando três gatinhos com ração e sachê. Para esses gatos abandonados, isso é um verdadeiro banquete. Enquanto eles comiam, tirei algumas fotos dos três felinos famintos e aproveitei para colocar os papos em dia com meu amigo.

Esses gatos dependem das doações de outras pessoas para poderem se alimentar, mas muitos deles estão cheios de doenças. A única preocupação é que não passem fome nas ruas. Existe uma pequena organização não governamental (ONG), que recebe doações em dinheiro ou ração. Infelizmente, esses animais são frutos do abandono das pessoas e, por isso, nessa região, temos uma infestação de gatos abandonados.
