It's been two weeks since I have posted something, my friend. I was quite busy with work and other stuffs and I am still struggling about my time management. But I am here with you, writing about our Pinning and donning.
Since then, when I started joining BCC DRRMO REACT, I am looking forward to this exciting part. But not to forget, I am also looking forward with the things that I still need to improve. Being one of this organization, helps me to become more patient, eager to learn, and to be corrected with the wrong things that I did. Since being a responder, you have to be dedicated and be mindful of what you are doing. This is not about fun nor about to be popular. It is about "Empowering people and Saving lives."
At some point, before the event started my tears started to fall. Most of us in our time have their parents together with them. But for me, a friend offer to be the who will pin and have processional march with me.
Mara is one of the amazing hooman being that I have met. If I were to call her, I would call her the unexpected person who came to my life. For she is a friend who you can lean on. I was not expecting at all to have someone beside me on that day. But there she is. She came on time.
But little did I know, there is also another peson who surprised me with a bouquet of butterflies, a bouquet, and gifts. This person never told me to come since she has a lot to do especially that we have our examination week.
President Larry, just caught my attention after the picture taking. For I thought that she will not come. Then there she is standing behind the walls with a surprise.
I am beyond grateful for what she did. I mean, it was my first time to receive those kind of stuffs. I was just surprised that she did it. I am still speechless for what she did. For there are no words that would suit how blessed I am. To be surrounded by these wonderful people.
I took pictures also with my daddy. Who is a father figure to me. He always check me and our polar bear if we are doing fine or not. Although I didn't grew up with a father, but he never fails to stand as one since we've met. You know what, he once told us that, *"you need 10 hugs each day"*. Everytime we met, he never fails to offer a hug. It became my comfort all throughout the semester.
Not but not the least, with Polar bear. I know some of you will be confused with the code name she has. But behind that one, is a meaning which is a unique one to hear. Anyways, at first I was hesitant and intimidated by the way she looks to the way she talks. But as time goes by, I have realized that she's one of the most wonderful person I have met. We have the same vibes. We always click with our jokes and even when our eyes met. How amazing it is right? To have companion who is the same with you.
Please know that you are not alone even in your down times. We're here to be your family if you need us. Congratulations on being a part of the team. I have high hopes you all could impart our vision and mission on to the next batch. 🤗💗
