In Numbers chapter 21:4-9,

The Israelites complained against God and Moses due to their journey through the wilderness, and as a consequence, God sent poisonous serpents among them. When the people realized their sin and asked Moses to intercede for them, God instructed Moses to make a bronze serpent and set it on a pole.

Acknowledge sin

Reflect on your actions and attitudes regularly. Acknowledge areas where you have fallen short or sinned, whether it's through unkind words, selfish actions, or neglecting your spiritual life.

Repentance

Take responsibility for your sins and sincerely repent. Confess your sins to God and ask for his forgiveness. Repentance involves a genuine desire to change and turn away from sinful behavior.

Look to Jesus

Just as the Israelites looked to the bronze serpent for healing, look to Jesus Christ for spiritual healing and salvation. Cultivate a daily relationship with him through prayer, reading the Bible, and participating in the Christian community.

Trust in the saving power of Jesus Christ

Believe that through his sacrifice on the cross, you can experience forgiveness, healing, and restoration.

Develop a heart of gratitude for God's mercy and grace

Recognize the incredible gift of salvation and the opportunity for spiritual renewal that comes through Jesus Christ.

Extend compassion and support to those who are struggling spiritually.

Encourage others to turn to God in times of need and point them toward the hope found in Jesus Christ.
