It was a bright, sunny day, so bright that many people were carrying umbrellas, not to protect themselves from the rain, but from the intense rays of the sun. It's common to use umbrellas to avoid exposure to the harsh sun, but I don't have that habit, simply because I don't like carrying so much stuff. My camera is enough for me, so I like to be able to walk around without much weight, just with my camera to capture every scene I encounter.

These are the scenes from this day, where we see how the sun illuminates in such a way that it creates very pronounced shadows. In some scenes, we see lines or shapes formed; in those cases, it's due to the position of the buildings that cast those shadows. In other scenes, it's simply the way you look around you, yes, that simple, under the sun's intense glare in a city where temperatures can easily reach 40 degrees Celsius.

But obviously I'm not complaining; this is how I like it. After several days of rain and also suffering from a terrible flu, seeing how splendid this day was lifted my spirits. As long as it stays like this, I'll be out taking more photos, feeling the heat, sweating every drop, and exploring many corners of this city.

All photos are my own.
