Hello to all my friends in the black and white community. I hope you're all doing well and everything is going smoothly there. It's Menti, and I'm back with another photographer and another blog post, this time with my dear coach, Amin Abdi.
He's a man full of experience, and I'm so happy to be training with him these days. I'm preparing myself to become stronger and to have a great and healthy lifestyle.
Amin is training for the Armenia competition, which is an international event. He has big goals and is a very ambitious man. I love him very much and am eager to always capture his best moments. He's truly one of the best in my city and a kind-hearted man.
For this photoshoot, I decided to break the norm and placed my own light source, a ring light, directly into the frame. This created a unique style in the photos, and he used his hands to adjust the ring light for lighting and positioning. I took photos of him with several different poses. Sometimes the light was low, and sometimes it was high, and he adjusted it based on the sports poses and figures he was doing.
I used a special black and white tone for these chiaroscuro photos and added another subtle light, a round softbox, to fill in areas where we needed more light from the ring light.
We took photos with both close-up and wide shots, and the results were quite satisfying. I wish Amin all the best in the competition and hope that whatever the outcome, he continues on this path because he's a role model.
Thank you for reading this post until the end. I appreciate you taking the time.
That's it for today's photoshoot. Have a wonderful night and day.
