Today, we had a fun photoshoot outdoors by a pond with my adorable son, Mani. Just like many kids his age, he's a huge fan of video games, especially those on his PlayStation. He's also got this cool, handmade necklace that he loves to wear.
Our first photoshoot, which is still pretty fresh in my mind, was by a pond on a truly memorable day. Mani was a bit chunkier back then, and I just loved his silly grin in the standing shot we took. For those of you who know me, you know Mani is my son, and these photos, taken on his birthday, bring back so many wonderful memories.
He was wearing a sweatshirt, and the ground had these interesting cracks that led to the pond, creating a really cool contrast in the frame.
Later, I asked him to sit by the pond, and I took a photo from the other side, trying to place him in the rule of thirds. The reflection in the water added a beautiful touch to this vertical shot. This daytime photoshoot, followed by night shots in darker clothing, made for a unique post focused on black and white photography.
Now, let's dive into the darker part of the post. For this look, I dressed Mani in a dark denim outfit with a white t-shirt underneath and a cool cap. He struck a really cool pose with the cap, looking super stylish. We always try to incorporate accessories into our photos, and the leather bracelet on his wrist helped elevate the look and added to his visual appeal.
Both photos were taken at the same location but at different times. The photo with the cap is older. No matter how old kids get, they'll always be their parents' babies.
Thank you for reading my post. I'm trying to make today a special day for Mani and hope this post brings you joy as well.
Have a wonderful day
