was reading about some suspicious results in an election
(not only suspicious but also hilarious)
It's still cooking, demonstrations are still going on, currently on break due to holidays - back on track January 13. (which is also funny if you ask me).
High end of the previous and low start of the current, democracy changed it shaped now it reminds more of autocracy.
We always said Trump and his cronies was the gang that couldn't crime good but from what I read it sounded like they made them seem almost professional. Almost makes me wonder if they hired Rudy Giuliani to organize it.
Could you explain why Jan 13 is funny, I'm not sure I understand?
Autocracy with democratic window dressing, à la Hungary and Russia? It's hard not to feel like we're headed that way now, depending on the breaks of next years elections.
Cause till that date it's officially holiday time around here, there are repeated scenarios and 'familiar', lots of 'you owe me' situations, scandals etc... Besides it should be more like people demonstrations, I personally don't want to be seen as someone who was led by. .. (hope you got the point).
Honestly 'normal' people are really surviving with basics, on contrary some state projects, shady people moves, actions are spending hilarious amounts of money - peoples money. It's huge injustice and pure financial manipulation with hungry masses.
Gotcha, holidays are through here, wasn't sure if it was Orthodox holidays or what. I think so, doesn't sound too different from some of the dynamics here in 2020.
