These macro images were taken during my evening walk in a grassy field. Under the orange sky, I crawled slowly while pushing aside the knee-high grass. The grass swayed in the gentle breeze now and then, and I could feel it on my face. I stopped crawling when my eyes caught a Parker’s thread-waisted wasp perched on the dry grass. The wasp also swayed occasionally as the grass moved in the breeze. But I think it enjoyed the gentle swaying. The proof is that it remained in place while I captured the beautiful moment with my phone camera.
