Day 4 Home Vacation : Part 2 - The Newlywed Cake Slicing and Feeding / Wine Toast and Drinking! ❤️

Hope all are safe and well!

The cake slicing and feeding as well as the wine toast and drinking is part of the marriage tradition for the newlywed couple.

Part 2 - The Newlywed Cake Slicing and Feeding / Wine Toast and Drinking

After the civil wedding ceremony held at the mayor's office, we go directly to the Rodolfo's Grill Restaurant - the reception venue where we will have a simple get together in celebrating the wedding of my younger brother.

When we arrived at the venue, the foods are not yet prepared. We waited for few minutes.

After few minutes of waiting, the foods are ready. We arrange the foods like a buffer style as we requested from the restaurant. While some giveaways and gifts are arrange by the bride. And the invited persons arrived. Before enjoying the foods, my godmother lead the prayer of blessing the foods. Then, we started getting foods and bring it to our tables. We enjoyed the yummy foods that was served. Aside of foods, we also enjoy each other stories while we are eating foods. 😁 We had so much fun with each other company.

When everyone is full, the newlywed started to slice the cake and feed each other. 🥰

Then, they toast the wine and drink it.

This kind of marriage tradition symbolises their oneness and commitment to each other as a couple. Both the bride and groom are happy together. 🥰 Their love to each other can be seen as they look at their eyes. It's pure and sweet. ❤️

After that, they opened the smallest wedding gift box they received. No matter how simple the gift is, they are happy and grateful about it.

Then, we had our family picture when we continue enjoying the foods and also we include the birthday celebration of my father in the reception of my brother's wedding. I gonna share it in the next blog.
