Hello everyone. It was a hot day today but the ANECO (Agusan Del Norte Electric Cooperative ) announced a whole day brown out from 7 am ‘till 6 pm. We couldn't contain staying at home without electric because it is hot without electric fan. Kids were bored since they cannot watch TV. So, we went at the Robinsons Mall. Our plan was to be at home again when electricity come back.
Wow, it was cold at the mall. Kids love to be there to see the lights and stores everywhere. There were many people that shop, eat, danced their Zumba routine and brought their children to the playhouse. My baby enjoyed many amusements like she doesn't wanna go back home, plus the spacious spaces like an arena and the cold temperature that makes playing comfortable. She also enjoyed riding in a racking racket that spins which we used to pay for 5 pesos per 5 minutes ride. Inside, it has a tv screen that plays nursery rhymes.
As we waited for the clock, we went at the grocery store. Seeing new things in there makes my baby wide awake even if she snores. She enjoyed seeing the piled items everywhere and would grab them that makes me nervous that she could damage a product. But I put her in a basket cart while my mother was picking a meat. She prefers buying meats from Robinsons because they are fresh and cheap. She prefers their Australian chicken because it is big with a good price. However, prices of meat these days have big difference than before.
She also bought a pork and beef. If I remember, five years ago, I could buy a 1 kilo of lean beef for 300 pesos or 5.26$. Today, it inflates into 7$. Pork meat is the same. If we only have 17.23$ these days, we cannot expect to buy meat that is consumable For one week, unless we mix it with vegetables. At home, that is my idea to budget our foods. A meat should only be a supporting ingredient to the dish. I tried to be a pescatarian, but when you only live at your parent’s house, it's hard to complain what is being served at the table. The meat price is expensive compared to fish and vegetables, plus healthy, but my companies at home are not health conscious. Because of this, kids and nephew are being used with meats and chicken is their favorite. Serve them veggies, you'll see they won’t eat. I am thankful that my baby eats vegetables. I don't feed her meats, only rice and veggies.
After the meat, my mother had bought a coffee. Every morning, she drinks It with bagel. Her morning seems so boring without the tempting aroma of it in a mug. Surprisingly, there were salesladies that gave free coffees. She was happy that she received it for free, because it might be expensive if she paid. While they took the product, they were asked a survey. It questioned how many times a day she drinks it, and she answered twice daily. Sometimes, we could hear her complain that she could not sleep the entire evening.Sometimes, she complains that she has a heart palpitations, but coffee is her addiction. They say that forbidden things on this earth are delicious. Like her coffee addiction that is hard to stop. How about you, who is a health conscious at home? Are a coffee addict? What are its effects to your body? Please tell me.
Mahal na lahat tao mura hehehe

It was a great day even no electric.
My mom always remind us to be health conscious so every morning she boiled guava leaves and serves as our morning water routine and we're not used of drinking coffee.
