The First Day of Our Flores De Mayo 2023

Hope all is good and safe😘😘😘

Yesterday night was the first day of "Flores de Mayo". Kids as well as the adults are so excited for the flores procession.

I'm one of the officer of the said Santa Cruzan Organization in our Little Chapel. So before May 1 starts were so busy preparing the cross, stars, crucifix and chapel. So last 29th of April the youth helped each other to clean the chapel and repair the cross and stars.I was able to helped them right after my duty that day. And on the 30th day is the schedule of the cross,stars and crucifix blessing.

And what we have to offer that blessing during the mass was a little amount of rice grains.

And so last night is the first day. The sponsor of the snacks last night, was there daughter's birthday. So after we sang the Parochial Hymn we also sang a birthday song to the celebrant.

After that we walk again until we reach the chapel. Then we let the kids and adults to have there line properly because we are going to distribute the snacks.

The snacks are muffins and juice. While for the youth members it was in a pack lunch which has spaghetti, chicken, lumpiang shanghai. And aside from that there's also a rice in a tupperware, pancit, chopsuey, cassava cake, and butter cake. We all enjoy eating it. And we thank God and the sponsors for the grace that we recieved.

That's all the happenings last night. Were thankful for the kids that they really cooperate and for not being naughty during the procession. We had a smooth and good procession for the first day. We hope that until the end of the month there are like that. Just behave and have discipline.
