People have unique beauty, and they shine when it's their time, just like flowers that grow and bloom in their own way.Flowers play an important role in our lives. They bring us happiness and peace of mind, add beauty to our surroundings, and brighten our days.
There are many different types of flowers in the world. However, not all of them are available in our locality due to their rarity. Additionally, some rare and high-class flowers are cultivated for business, so we only have access to those found locally.
One such flower is Gardenia jasminoides, also known as Cape Jasmine. This flower is very elegant and has a long lifespan before wilting. However, it is quite sensitive; if not properly cared for, it might die, as happened with my neighbor's plant. It’s best to cut them only when they have grown enough.
We also have a Pink Rose is very common in our locality and is often referred to as the "King of Flowers." However, we struggled to grow it due to its sensitivity if disturbed or bumped, it can die. Additionally, our chickens often scratch the ground where it is planted, leading to its wilting and death.
We also have a white rose. This is my favorite type because, aside from its subtle fragrance, it has no thorns, so you can touch it freely.
This flower, called Allamanda or Allamanda blanchetii in scientific terms, grows like a tree and blooms with many flowers.
Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, commonly known as Gumamela, is easy to plant and care for. It does not die quickly, and its flowers are particularly attractive, especially in red.
Here is an orange Gumamela, another type of Hibiscus. It differs from others because its flowers are double.
We also have Canna 'Yellow King Humbert,' also known as Indian Shot. We are not sure of an alternative name for this flower, but some people here call it Saging² because its leaves resemble banana leaves.
This plant is Tabernaemontana pandacaqui, commonly known as Pandacaqui. It has small white flowers and often attracts caterpillars. My didn't like this much because she's afraid of worms.
In our locality, this flower is commonly known as Santan, or Ixora coccinea scientifically. We have both red and pink Santan.
We also have a cactus with yellow flowers. We never expected this cactus to bloom until it did. I didn’t like cacti much because of their many spikes, but after seeing it bloom, I began to appreciate it.
This is a yellow orchid. Orchids takes a long time to bloom and requires proper care, including specific light, temperature, humidity, and watering. All these factors are crucial for blooming.
Just like people, flowers need care and love to grow beautifully and have lovely fragrances. Flowers are symbols of love and beauty, often used to express admiration or affection for someone. They are also given as gifts to convey love and appreciation to special people in our lives. That’s why people love flowers.
What a beautiful flower garden! I think I like the double hibiscus the best - it looks so unusual to me!
