Continuing to battle aboard the S.S. Anne
This is a play through of Pokemon Blue by using RetroArch to emulate the game. I am randomising the Pokemon in areas with similar strength so it isn't completely randomised, while choosing three starters of similar types
A trip to the poke centre was made to recover all Goliath's Pokemon before jumping back about, the S.S. Anne to continue the battles yet to be fought.
A fisherman had a Drowzee which hits hard when using confusion on Grimer, over half the health gets taken away and it would only take one more confusion, to take Grimer out but luckily the Dratini was brought out to have better luck.
The luck would definitely be there as a disable fails to work before Dratini gets to act first, using wrap to stop Drowzee in its tracks. A couple of these used ensured a victory for Goliath and Grimer grew to level twenty two.
Next up in the lineup to face was a Growlithe and it was time for his Wartortle, to shine further as it used water gun to really drown the fire dog to be a defeated dog.
It doesn't stop there as then it was time for a Charmander.. two fire types in a row!
Wartortle reached level seventeen after Growlithe and would have a nice chunk of experience from Charmander as well. But another victory also means more money and not just the gained experience and levels.
In preparation to be used again, Goliath taught Dratini bubblebeam so it had another great move to use and to help it work harder at leveling until getting to evolution. Grimer had a super potion used on it since the leveling is required to evolve as well, but they are currently some of the better options to enjoy using for battles.
A higher leveled Voltorb was fought for the battle against the sailor up next but it didn't manage to get manage attacks hitting, a screech had lowered Grimer's defence though but was a shame for the sailor to be missing.
This corridor of rooms on the ship has now been cleared and it was back to the one, near the entrance to the ship and we first see a gentleman bring out a Horsea with good speed to unleash bubble first.
It manages to get Grimer down just over half its health before one final pound took out Horsea and saw a Charmander come out to play.
Bubblebeam was a great thing to teach Dratini because it could now easily defeat this Charmander since it was a water move against fire and this was exactly why he wants to level Dratini sooner, so it can keep being used more often as a current favourite!
Money won for this fight was a big amount and over one thousand was earned which is likely due to the fact, it's a gentleman who is rich and can afford to part with that amount of money.
There are a lot of battles to go still, it might get tough but there is always the healing to be ready for the rest of the trainers!
Apologies for a bit later on the post, forgot to schedule it to come out on time.
Emulator used: RetroArch with a Gameboy Colour core
