I played more after this and I love it. Although I want to do so many things in a day but it goes so quickly. Suddenly, I am on Day 10 and already missed a birthday...lol
Stardew Valley is fantastic. Easily a game you can spend 100+ hours in if you're not careful. xD
Your energy will get better as you go through the game. You will find ways to increase it, and as you level up in like mining and stuff, you use less energy to do those things. As for keeping track of NPCs, I don't usually recommend mods to people when they play a game for the very first time... but in this case it's a lifesaver, truly. ~ https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/239
I can already see myself spending my life on it. :)
Just checked the mod and it looks like a great addition to the map, it gets so hard tracking all the NPCs. One time I went to the Fish shop to sell my fish and found out the guy is not in his shop...LOL

Time passes quickly and it's hard to do it all in 1 year, just...go with your own pace
