Imagine this: you land from a bus, a gray pistol in your hand, a popcorn hat on your head (because why not?), and in the background you can hear the familiar sound of an approaching storm. Fortnite is not just a game - it's a battlefield, a chaos laboratory and a stage for life's greatest dramas. And all this in one match.
"Where do we land?" - the drama of the first seconds 🏝️🎮
The beginning of every match is a classic dilemma:
"Tilted Towers?!" - Wiktor shouts, pointing at the map.
"No, no, let's land somewhere quieter. Maybe Lonely Labs?" - I reply, hoping for a quiet game.
"Easy?! Even the name there sounds like a foretaste of defeat!"
Eventually, we choose a random point, which Wiktor calls "the best place to loot crates". The problem is that all the other players seemed to think the same.
Fight for survival – or how NOT to play in a team 🔫⚡
We start collecting loot. Wiktor shouts:
"Mom, I found a golden shotgun!"
"Great, share!"
"I can't, I'm already fighting!"
Meanwhile, I'm desperately trying to find a weapon better than a smoke grenade, and Sara runs towards the opponents... armed with a fish.
"What are you doing?!"
"I'm testing a new strategy."
The result? Chaos. But in Fortnite, chaos is the middle name of success. The opponent, confused by our lack of plan, falls into a trap, and we celebrate the first eliminations.
Building or improvising? 🏗️🎭
Fortnite is a game where creativity knows no bounds. The problem is that my building skills are... let's say, debatable.
“Quickly, build a tower!” – shouts Wiktor.
“Now, now!” – I reply, building... stairs to nowhere.
Meanwhile, the opponent is building a fortress that looks like a Disney castle. But in Fortnite, cleverness counts, so instead of fighting, we send boogie bombs – and the opponent starts dancing.
The storm is coming – time is running out! 🌪️⏳
Fortnite teaches one important thing: the storm waits for no one.
“Mom, we have to run!” – shouts Wiktor, as the zone begins to close.
“But I haven’t collected everything yet!”
“You don’t collect – you survive or you die!”
We run through fields, forests and... rivers, where Roni, my pug, looks at the screen as if it were the best action movie.
The final zone – all or nothing! ⚔️🏆
There are five of us left. We struggle to build a cover, although it looks more like a treehouse than a fortress. Wiktor says:
"This is our chance. We attack!"
I rush into the fight, but halfway there I realize that I left the medkits in the zone. Sara throws me a fish - "Better than nothing."
In the end, we win thanks to a brilliant maneuver: the opponent falls into our trap, we dance "Flossa" and the screen lights up with the words Victory Royale.
