Fortnite on Xbox - family games full of emotions and laughter

Fortnite is a game that has been conquering players' hearts around the world for years. Her dynamic gameplay, the ability to build and countless game modes make everyone find something for themselves - from competing skirmishes to playing in building fancy constructions. Recently, we had the opportunity to check how Fortnite works in a family circle on Xbox. Effect? Unforgettable moments, a lot of laughter and ... 2nd place in the game!

What is Fortnite?

For the uninitiated - Fortnite is a Battle Royale game, in which 100 players land on the island and fight for survival. We have a lot of weapons, gadgets and construction mechanisms to choose from. The game offers various modes such as Solo, Duo or Squad, so everyone will find something for themselves. What's more, the creators regularly add new events, challenges and skins, which makes the game fresh and interesting.

Our family experiences

In our family it is mainly my husband and son caught up in Fortnite. Initially, it seemed to me that this was just another shooter, but I quickly realized that it was more. It's about strategy, cooperation and lots of fun.

We played best in Duo mode, where my husband and son created a team. I and the rest of the family watched their actions on the screen, laughing at tears from their dialogues.

Anecdotes from the game

One of the funniest situations took place when my husband (let the "commander") try to give my son an order:

• "Son, cover me, I build a base!" The husband called, full of determination.
• "Dad, but I found a chicken, look at how I run over and over again!" The son answered, laughing at its best.

Effect? The commander was eliminated by a sniper, and the son ran with chicken to the very end.

However, the greatest emotions came at the end when they reached the final two. My husband shouted commands like a real general:

• "Put the walls! Throw grenades! Where is the sniper?! "
  The son replied calmly:
• "Dad, relax, it's just a game ..."
  And although the first place could not be won, the joy of achieving the second was huge.

Why is Fortnite on Xbox great fun?

Fortnite on Xbox is a great way to spend time in a family circle. The game teaches cooperation, reflexes and strategic thinking, and at the same time provides a lot of laughter. In our case, it was not only a way to spend the evening together, but also to create funny memories that we will remember for a long time.

Do we recommend? Of course! If you have Xbox at home and at least a bit of the spirit of competition, give Fortnite a chance. Who knows, maybe you will get a place on the podium - or at least a few stories that make the whole family laugh.
