The other day I exposed my level of autism and free time to Reddit with a post about my Project Zomboid checklists/character sheets. People seemed to get a kick out of it, and a lot of people asked for a link to the template, which I orignally found here by Reddit user NotSenz.
Reddit user Saturns_Hexagon and some others made suggestion to use a spreadsheet, from which I could do some "cool things with the data". It got me thinking, that's right up my alley. Rather than start with migrating the checklist itself though, I gathered as much stats as I could from my save files and screenshots. It's just a silly little exercise in spreadsheets, but who knows if some of you find it interesting as well.
The first chart shows how long each character has survived so far, ordered by when I started playing them.
The next two shows how survival rates have changed over time. The charts tend to drop off towards the end because a survivor that hasn't reached 24 hours/1 week etc. doesn't count yet, but those who have died do count against the survivor rate. I'm not sure what's the best way to deal with that factor in the chart.
Finally here are their kill stats. It's curious that some of my highest kill per hour rates are on short lifetime survivors. Kills per hour uses the right axis.
