Medicinal plants are essential in a garden and have many advantages for both us and our vegetables. In addition, they are very easy to grow and very resistant to both diseases and pests.

This is definitely among my three favourite medicinal plants. Rosemary is the classic Mediterranean plant that is tough as can be and grows almost everywhere without needing to be planted.
As a medicinal plant, rosemary has properties to strengthen the immune system and also the neuronal system. But it can be said that rosemary helps to have better health.

In Mediterranean cuisine it is one of the main condiments and we all know that it is the healthiest cuisine in the world. Rosemary is used in all kinds of dishes from stews, salads for its aroma or even to season traditional sausages. Its aroma is unmistakable.

As a plant in the garden it helps us with pollination since it is a honey plant. Hence the rosemary honey. And it also has a certain effect against aphids. It is best to use it in small hedges that, in addition to helping beneficial insects, can also act as a windbreak.
It can be planted anywhere since it does not have any special requirements. It prefers full sun and not much water. The best thing with rosemary is to touch it very little.
