This proposal is to fund Hive Plug & Play, which is now a HAF-based app for customizable streaming and parsing of custom_json ops on Hive.

I think you're building the kind of tools which help a wider community of developers start using Hive. I still haven't fully grasped what HAF is going to do but I'm sure we need it!
