Three Photo Thursday - easy eggs and beans

I have been playing with flavours. Again. And leftovers. Some people say I am the queen (or words to that effect) of leftovers. This time it was green beans. They always work well with cumin and because Thursday evenings have no real time for fiddling about as I start the rolls for Saturday (two lots), it's always quick and easy.

This frittata was both: olive oil and cumin seeds, heated to popping. Flash in the beans and then pour over four beaten eggs and agitate to distribute both. Once the egg is beginning to set, sprinkle over some balsamic onion marmalade and cheddar. Finish off under the grill.

Garnish with fresh basil. I didn't. It went in the side salad.

Finally, and because it's Friday:

Princess Pearli would like me to think that's a halo, but it's not. The Smith Street Strumpet has been living up to her name. After nearly 2 solid weeks of being a homebody, she's breaking curfew. Occasionally dropping in for a chat or a bite. Like yesterday.

PS This is my first post from the @ecency mobile app. I have been a great fan and proponent of @dapplr. However, since it's been up for sale, it's functionality has deteriorated. And it won't let one post if the app is not set as a 5% beneficiary. That no longer rests well with me.
