En este lunes, incio de semana, les traigo un dibujo a manera de práctica, como siempre, de un girasol, pero esta vez con lápices de colores, anteriormente hice uno a lápiz y desde esa vez me dije que haría uno con lápices de colores y aunque paso un buen tiempo desde esa vez, al fin lo hice.

On this Monday, the beginning of the week, I bring you a practice drawing, as always, of a sunflower, but this time with colored pencils, previously I did one in pencil and since that time I told myself that I would do one with colored pencils and although it has been a while since that time, I finally did it.

Actualmente solo práctico dos técnicas la de lápices de gráfito y la de lápices de colores, de las dos siento que domino un poco mejor la de grafito y la de lápices de colores me cuesta un poco más, casi nunca quedó conforme con el resultado, eso quiere decir que tengo que esforzarme más con esa técnica, todo es cuestión de practicar y tener paciencia.

Currently I only practice two techniques: graphite pencils and colored pencils, of the two I feel that I master a little better the graphite one and the colored pencils one is a little more difficult, I am almost never satisfied with the result, that means that I have to make more effort with this technique, everything is a matter of practicing and having patience.

Lo primero que hice fue el boceto del girasol, no hice un paso a paso del dibujo porque en el post donde hice el girasol con lápices de grafito ya expliqué paso a paso como hago el girasol, así que me salte esa paso para mostrarles el proceso de coloreado.

The first thing I did was the sketch of the sunflower, I didn't make a step by step drawing because in the post where I made the sunflower with graphite pencils I already explained step by step how to make the sunflower, so I skipped that step to show you the coloring process.

Luego de hacer el girasol con un lápiz H, o sea un lápiz bastante claro, lo siguiente fue borrar un poco las líneas del dibujo con un borrador, esto es para que no se vea ningún rastro del grafito a través del coloreado, obviamente no es borrar todo el dibujo sino aclarar un poco el color del grafito, lo ideal al trabajar con lápices de colores es hacer el dibujo directamente con el color, pero corremos el riesgo de equivocarnos y no poder borrar, entonces con el lápiz podemos borrar cualquier error.

After making the sunflower with a pencil H, that is to say a quite clear pencil, the following thing was to erase a little the lines of the drawing with an eraser, this is so that no trace of the graphite is seen through the coloring, obviously it is not to erase the whole drawing but to clarify a little the color of the graphite, the ideal when working with colored pencils is to make the drawing directly with the color, but we run the risk of making a mistake and not being able to erase, then with the pencil we can erase any error.

Luego comencé coloreando los petalos con una primera capa de amarillo claro, y también coloree el pistilo con una capa de anaranjado. Trate en la medida de lo posible que el coloreado quedará uniforme, aunque debo seguir trabajando en eso. 😆

Then I started coloring the petals with a first layer of light yellow, and I also colored the pistil with a layer of orange. I tried as much as possible to make the coloring uniform, although I need to keep working on that. 😆

Luego con un anaranjado más obscuro, yo diría que es algo así, como color ladrillo 🧱 comencé a delinear cada pétalo para darle más definición a cada uno y también comencé a difuminar el color para darle más profundidad y volumen al girasol.

Then with a darker orange, I would say it's something like that, like brick color 🧱 I started outlining each petal to give more definition to each one and I also started blurring the color to give more depth and volume to the sunflower.

También con ese mismo color, hice esas rallas curvas que parten desde el centro hasta el borde del pistilo y con un color marrón intente dar más volumen.

Also with the same color, I made those curved stripes that start from the center to the edge of the pistil and with a brown color I tried to give more volume.

La verdad el pistilo no me quedo como quería, siento que es un gran error mezclar colores que no son iguales, por ejemplo el color anaranjado obscuro y el marrón son de marcas diferentes, y es difícil mezclarlos entre sí, el marrón es un color más cremoso fácil de trabajar, pero el color anaranjado obscuro es de esos colores que le llaman "tercos" y no se mezclan muy bien con otros.

I feel it is a big mistake to mix colors that are not the same, for example the dark orange and brown are of different brands, and it is difficult to mix them together, the brown is a creamy color easy to work with, but the dark orange color is one of those colors that are called "stubborn" and do not mix very well with others.

Igual el siguiente girasol que haga intentaré hacerlo mucho mejor, no pienso rendir hasta que me quede tan hermoso y realista como quiero. 🥰

Still the next sunflower I make I will try to do much better, I don't plan to give up until I get it as beautiful and realistic as I want. 🥰

Por último puse otra capa de amarillo sobre los petalos para unificar todo el color y quedará más uniforme y este fue el resultado.

Finally I put another layer of yellow on the petals to unify all the color and it will be more uniform and this was the result.

Como dije anteriormente seguiré practicando hasta lograr un girasol 🌻 más realista sé que con práctica, paciencia y amor lo voy a lograr, solo debo confiar en el proceso. Vamos que sé puede! 🥰❤️
