1. Price
These graphs show the evolution of prices in USD for HIVE and HBD.
2. Supply
This graph shows the evolution of HIVE virtual Supply. The virtual supply is the sum of HIVE supply (liquid and staked HIVE) and HBD supply (converted into HIVE).
The graph also displays the debt ratio (HBD supply / HIVE virtual supply). Keep in mind that since hardfork 24 funds in the treasury (@hive.fund HBD balance) don't count towards the HBD debt ratio.

5. Conversions
Note: As a reminder, conversion requests are only finalized after 3 days. It is only then that it is known exactly how many HIVE were burned in return for the HBD received at the time of the conversion request.

I always look to see if I recognize the names in the powerup and powerdown areas as well as the HBD savers. Seems there was more powering down than up to start the year. Funny to see Dalz powering down his entire stack when he often reports on the financial stats like you do https://hive.blog/hive-133987/@dalz/what-is-the-share-of-the-hive-power-that-is-actively-votingcurating-or-jan-2024
Looking back on that huge spike in March of 2020, I remember exactly what was going on in the world that month but can't recall what sparked that big power up.
Interesting stats to triangulate as I plan my Hive business!

Indeed, it's interesting to observe the power up and power down trends. It provides a glimpse into the behaviors and strategies of different users.
As for the spike in March 2020, it was likely due to a combination of multiple factors including market conditions and individual user decisions.
