Finish the Tale. Story #6 [Ecency Writing Contest] - The Call / La Llamada [ENG / ESP]

And here my final of the tale:

"You don't know me, but I know you", the voice said before the call cut out.

And his blood ran cold. He couldn't believe what was happening to him. He'd had a negative feeling days before, but not even in his worst nightmares could he have believed it was all real.

He decided it was time to calm down and think things through. It was a matter of life or death, deciding what to do from now on and whether it was worth telling anyone what was happening.

And he did think of someone in particular. His hands were still shaking when he picked up the phone again, but he had to call the only person he could trust. It was his only hope of solving everything that was happening to him, or so he thought...

He took a deep breath and tapped the phone screen several times until it began to ring. At that moment, all he could think about was getting an answer; he was almost praying inside, and his eyes snapped open when he finally heard a voice.

• "Yes? Who is it?"

Thankfully, that voice comforted him, unlike the first. And he said:

• "Hi, it's me. I need your help. I think someone knows what I did."

¡Hola amigos!

Esta es mi primera vez participando en este concurso de escritura de Ecency, que descubrí por casualidad. Me pareció interesante y motivador, así que decidí unirme por diversión. Si queréis saber más, leed la guía aquí:

Y aquí está mi final del cuento:

"Tú no me conoces, pero yo te conozco", dijo la voz antes de que se cortara la llamada.

Y a él se le heló la sangre. No podia creer lo que le estaba pasando, había tenido una sensación negativa días antes pero ni en sus peores pesadillas podía pensar que todo aquello fuera real.

Decidió que era el momento de calmarse y pensar fríamente, era cuestión de vida o muerte decidir qué hacer a partir de ahora y si era conveniente contar lo que le estaba sucediendo a alguien.

Y sí, pensaba en alguien en concreto. Aún le temblaban las manos cuando cogió de nuevo el teléfono, pero tenía que llamar a la única persona en la que podía confiar, era su única esperanza de poder solucionar todo lo que le estaba pasando, o al menos eso creía...

Respiró hondo, y pulsó varias veces en la pantalla del móvil hasta que éste empezó a sonar. En ese momento solo pensaba en que le respondiera, casi estaba rezando en su interior, y abrió de golpe los ojos cuando oyó por fin una voz.

• "¿Sí? ¿quién es?"

Menos mal, esa voz le reconfortó, al contrario que la primera. Y le dijo:

• "Hola, soy yo, necesito tu ayuda. Creo que alguien sabe lo que hice".
