My battle play is dependent upon rented cards. I prefer taking cars on the rental for 30 days duration so that I need not to take cards on rental frequently. I remember that when I started last year time rental was such a problem for me. It was a problem because I did not know that I could take it for any duration.
I used to take it for a week and every week I was spending hours and hours to manage it. I had no idea why the cards were removed but later on, I got to know. Managing rentals every week is a tough task and sadly I was doing it so you can understand how difficult it was for me to manage the rentals for me.
Now I am pretty much familiar with the overall rental management and this ecosystem. It's been many months since I started taking cards on the rental for 30 days duration. I don't remember where I read that but that article was very helpful and made me learn a better way to manage it. Thereafter I started renting the cards for thirty days and now my life is easy. I still review the rentals every week but that does not take much time. I do review because I just want to ensure that the cards are there in my deck so that while playing I don't lose battles. Sometimes the card owners cancel the lease and that is when the cards are removed. Sometimes I get the notification about it and sometimes I don't so this system is not completely reliable. I'm talking about the notification so I just tried to manage it my way.
Here is the page where you can see that I started the rental for a set of cards on 7 October. It's been ten days since the rental started and in this duration, no card has ended which is good but ideally, this does not happen with me. I noticed some cards were gone in between the better and I had to take them again which was inconvenient for me. I'm glad that this time it has not happened till now and 10 days are already over for the rentals.
This is another window where you can see that the last card ending was done on 7th October and I just want the rental to be this way. I hope it continues because for the first time I have seen this and I am glad that people who rent cards have not taken them back. It is easy and saves a lot of my time for card management. There is a lot to learn from me in the game and I'm just trying my best to understand this rental mechanism. Undoubtedly there is a lot for me to make it more efficient and free which I am trying but I know that I'm still not there and it will take some time for me. I also keep on buying the DEC token from time to time because that is the currency I use for making payments. I say making payment then it is for the rentals that I take through the card and this is the token that I find easy to manage and also buy at a discount.
Conclusion
Overall this season has been going well for me and also the cards that I have got are still with me. Just imagine how easy life can be if there is no removal of cards and I just take all those for a month. If it continues like this then I can also think of increasing the duration of my rental which can be forty-five days or sixty days. But for this, I am not going to take the decision right away but we will keep on reviewing it from time to time and if I see that things are better now. If it is better then surely I can consider it but it will take some time for me to finalise and adopt the new model.
