Hi, SPL community! I just finished my entry for the Splinterlands Weekly Art Contest. I was a bit late in drawing because I’ve been quite busy these past few days.
But even with a busy schedule, I still made time to participate in this contest.
ARIA BANDIT
For this week, I decided to draw Aria Bandit. It is a range attack life element unit that was released during the Rebellion edition.
It has a range attack power of 2 and a speed of 2. Although its life is small, because of its dodge ability, there is a high chance that it won’t be hit by the enemy. it also has a snipe ability, which is good for countering enemy magic attackers, especially buff cards and healers.
THE PROCESS
So, the first thing I did was sketch a humanoid fox. I wasn’t sure if Aria Bandit was a fox or a wolf, so I just drew something similar.
I elongated her tail to make it look more cool.
I also put it in an attack pose to give her a fighting appearance.
After outlining, I filled in the base colors. Most of the character’s shades are in brown.
Once I indicated the base colors, I started shading using a wet water paintbrush.
After coloring everything, I started working on the background. I thought of a rocky background for her.
I colored the rocks with shades of brown using the water brush.
