EARTH ELEMENTAL (fanart splinterlads)Splinterlands Art Contest Week 285!

Hola, amigos de splinterland espero se encuentren muy bien en esta oportunidad me gustaría participar con mi fanart de el personaje del elemental de tierra el cual realice con material de reciclaje. es un personaje que me llama mucho la atención por ser un árbol humanoide y es de mi cartas favoritas por su arte. también me gustaría felicitar a los ganadores de la edición anterior @yanes94 @japex1226 @sephiwolf @solumviz @jijisaurart @sawcraz.art @atem.art @emja @almightygrim @manuel2395 pero su excelentes participación

Materiales

• Alambre
• Cilindro de carton
• Periodico
• Papel de baño
• Pinturas : Marron, amarillo , verde ,
• Pegamento blanco
• Agua
• Algodon
• varillas de madera

Procedimiento

En con papel de baño y pegamento blanco cubrí una capa de papel sobre el cilindro de cartón y corte algunas pestañas en la un extremo del cilindro y también forre con papel dejando algunas puntas posteriormente coloque una capa de periódico previamente cortados en tiras y deje secar al sol 30minutos

con el alambre atravese la figura en la parte de arriba y abajo para sacar los brazos y las piernas del personaje, para los brazos corte el alambre por la midad y le hice articulaciones redondeando las puntas le coloque nuevamente logrando articular los brazos.

Con papel de baño y pegamento cubri con varias capas los brazos y piernas,
En la parte superior coloque atravesando al personaje algunas varillas de madera cruzadas las cuales seran las ramas superiores del arbol y forrre con papel toda la figura

Despues de una hora de secado.
coloque papel de baño sumergido en pega blanca hasta crear una pasta y con ella modele el rostro del personaje y deje secar le coloque una capa de pintura marron yu deje que secara toda la noche.

Al día siguiente como el marrón me quedo muy oscuro empecé a combinar el marrón con blanco pero no me daba el tono que deseaba hasta que decidí agregar amarillo al marrón y comenzó a dar el tono que estaba buscando aunque aun estaba muy oscuro así que le agregue blanco para aclara y comencé a pintar con este nuevo marrón un poco mas claro y brillante también le coloque algunas pinceladas de amarillo difuminado para dar un poco de luz, también en una taza con agua disolví un poco de pintura verde y sumergí el algodón para que se tiñera de verde. luego lo saque y coloque una hora al sol para que secara.
Una vez seco con pegamento co coloque sobre la cabeza del personaje y listo

Hello, friends of splinterland I hope you are doing very well this time I would like to share my fanart of the earth elemental character which I made with recycled materials. It is a character that catches my attention for being a humanoid tree and is one of my favorite cards for its art.

• Cardboard cylinder
• Newspaper
• Toilet paper
• Paints: Brown, yellow, green
• White glue
• Water
• Cotton
• Wooden sticks

Procedure

I covered a layer of paper with toilet paper and white glue on the cardboard cylinder and cut some tabs at one end of the cylinder and also lined it with paper leaving some edges. I then placed a layer of previously cut newspaper strips and let it dry in the sun for 30 minutes.

I pierced the figure with wire at the top and bottom to create the arms and legs of the character. For the arms, I cut the wire in half and made joints by rounding the ends and reattaching them to create articulated arms.

I covered the arms and legs with several layers of toilet paper and glue.
At the top, I placed crossed wooden sticks through the character, which will be the upper branches of the tree, and covered the entire figure with paper.

After an hour of drying, I submerged toilet paper in white glue to create a paste and used it to sculpt the character's face. I let it dry, applied a layer of brown paint, and allowed it to dry overnight.

The next day, as the brown was too dark, I began mixing brown with white, but it didn't give me the desired tone. I then decided to add yellow to the brown, which started to achieve the tone I was looking for. Although it was still too dark, I added white to lighten it and began painting with this new, slightly brighter brown. I also added some blended yellow brush strokes to give it some light. In a cup of water, I dissolved a bit of green paint and soaked the cotton in it to dye it green. I then took it out and left it in the sun for an hour to dry.
Once dry, I glued it onto the character's head.
