INTRO

Healers have always been considered vital supports in various games, including Splinterlands. Their ability to restore health provides a significant advantage and increases the likelihood of victory in battles. However, what if the ability to heal is removed from the equation? This week's battle mage secret revolves around the intriguing concept of eliminating healing abilities in battles.

MY BATTLE

I will be sharing a battle that took place under the healed-out ruleset, and I will discuss the strategy I employed to secure the victory. Let us look at the battle rules for this encounter.

My battle was a 2-rule encounter featuring the silenced summoner and healed out rules. In this battle, no abilities or stats from the summoner were active. The maximum mana limit for this battle was set at 50, and only earth elements were allowed in the lineup.

Line Up

For this battle, I have decided to incorporate two monsters with the taunt ability and observe how effective this strategy will be within the battle rules. Our complete lineup consists of my chosen summoner, Obsidian, and my opponent's summoner, Immortalis. It is important to note that in this battle, summoners are silenced, rendering their abilities and stats ineffective. One advantage of using Obsidian as my summoner is that it has a lower mana requirement compared to Immortalis, allowing me to allocate those extra 2 mana points to my monsters.

Below are the 2 monsters with taunt ability that I used for this battle.

COEURL LURKER
This is one of my favorite cards from the Riftwatcher edition. I aspire to have this card at its maximum level due to its exceptional abilities and stats. However, for the battle at hand, I will be using it at level 2 since that is the current level I have obtained. The Coeurl Lurker boasts impressive stats, including 4 melee attack, 4 speed, and 11 health. Its abilities, taunt, dodge, and phase, make it an invaluable asset in the battle.

MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN
This is the second monster with taunt ability that I have included in my lineup. I have already reached the maximum level for this card, and it excels in magic attacks. Its abilities include taunt, forcefield, and slow.

Conclusion

The used of 2 monster with taunt ability was effective on this battle. It allowed my opponent to focus attacking only this monsters one at a time. Having this advantage, my other team manages to eliminate my opponent slowly.
