How Many Chaos Legion Soulbound Cards Have We Unlocked?

here presenting that the total DEC burned to unbind Chaos Legion soulbound cards as of August 29th is 109 million. Using this number as a baseline, I have calculate how many BCX of each card might have been unlocked thus far.@goldmatters recently posted

Assumptions:

• DEC burned minus 25% for Gold Foil cards leaves us with the total DEC burned for Regular Foil.
• Counted total BCX for sale on @splinterlands and the total DEC burned to unlock each card.
• Used this ratio as the weighed average of the total DEC burned to estimate the total of each card unlocked.

Observations:
Based on this methodology:

• The total number of BCX unlocked is around 480,000.
• This indicates the average BCX for each rarity and the number of MAX cards available.
  • Common = 33,000 (83 MAX)
  • Rare = 5,611 (50 MAX)
  • Epic = 1,104 (24 MAX)
  • Legendary = 691 (63 MAX)

Take Away:
While the existing player base may have most of the Chaos Legion souldbound cards they need, these cards will be very scarce for new players joining the game in the future, and possibly quite expensive. As a result, I have unlocked as many as I can afford, and will continue to enjoy playing with them while I wait for the rest of the world to catch-up to the fact that this is the best game ever created!
