Hello everyone, have a nice day and good battles. This time I will be participating in this Splinterlands Challenge, in which I will show you what has been my MVP card of this year, and an incredible card I got by opening packs; it was totally worth it.
Definitely the card that has been my MVP this year is Commander Slade, a powerful melee materran unit of the water element. This is a soulbound rebellion card, so since its release last year, it was fun to get the first copy and level up to max level earlier this year.
At level 1, it has the Enfeeble ability, which allows it to reduce the attack power of the melee unit it attacks by 1; this effect is stackable. It also has the Dodge ability, which grants it a 25% chance of evading physical attacks.
It is not until it reachs level 4 that Slade learns the Deflect ability, which is excellent, as it will not take damage from thorns, corrosive ward, and blast effects.
And at max level, it learns the Backfire ability, so when an enemy unit misses attacks against this unit, it will receive 2 physical damage.
Isn't it a great card? Even in high level battles, it remains very useful and an essential card if you want to win battles.
Of course, to be summoned it needs an archon, and the best one currently that works better for it, is Elias Max Pruitt, a light/water archon who not only grants +1 melee attack power to his melee units and +1 armor to his units, but can also grant the Piercing and most importantly Armored Strike ability, so Commander Slade will be able to attack using its armor first before its melee attack; and as you can see, it has 7 base armor, which allows it to deal a lot of damage to its targets.
This is an excellent example of how useful Commander Slade is in high ranking battles, with the Armored Strike and Piercing abilities granted by Elias Maxx.
Mantaroth (which has armored strike) also did a lot of damage, but Commander Slade clearly the one who caused the most damage, as it has more armor and melee attack power. In this battle, all my units were defeated, except for Commander Slade, which ends the battle defeating the Calamity dragon.

Here is another example of how Commander Slade also rocks in lower levels, of course with Elias Maxx. By the way, my opponent also knew that Commander Slade is powerful and summoned it, but used a different archon; it was not bad, but its poison burst effect wasn't enough to win this time.
Once again, Commander Slade leads my team to victory.

MY FIRST BLACK FOIL CARD
Virid Venomancer is my first and, for now, only black foil card that I got from opening a conclave arcana standard pack. I opened it before the fourth conflict: Gnome Time to Die was available, so I could get the archon Loving the Moo. It was definitely a great and beautiful experience, seeing the card shake, and I was thinking that it would be a legendary card, but it turned out to be a black card, a hundred times better.

Hola a todos, que tengan un buen día y buenas batallas. Esta vez participaré en este Splinterlands Challenge, donde les mostrare mi carta más valiosa del año y una carta increíble que conseguí abriendo conclave packs; valió totalmente la pena.
Sin duda, mi carta más valiosa del año es el Comandante Slade, una poderosa unidad materran cuerpo a cuerpo del elemento agua. Es una carta de rebelión soulbound, así que desde su lanzamiento el año pasado, fue divertido conseguir la primera copia y subir al nivel máximo a principios de este año.
En el nivel 1, tiene la habilidad Debilitar, que le permite reducir en 1 el poder de ataque de la unidad cuerpo a cuerpo a la que ataca; este efecto es acumulable. También tiene la habilidad Esquivar, que le otorga un 25% de probabilidad de evadir ataques físicos.
No es hasta que alcanza el nivel 4 que Slade aprende la habilidad Desviar, que es excelente, ya que no recibe daño de espinas, protección corrosiva ni efectos de explosión.
Y en el nivel máximo, aprende la habilidad Backfire, que, cuando una unidad enemiga falla ataques contra este, recibe 2 de daño físico.
¿No es una carta genial? Incluso en batallas de alto nivel, sigue siendo muy útil y esencial para ganar batallas.
Por supuesto, para ser invocada necesita un arconte, y el mejor actualmente para ello es Elias Max Pruitt, un arconte de elemento luz/agua que no solo otorga +1 de poder de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo y +1 de armadura a sus unidades, sino que también puede otorgar la habilidad Perforante y, sobre todo, Golpe Blindado. Así, el Comandante Slade podrá atacar usando su armadura antes de su ataque cuerpo a cuerpo. Como pueden ver, tiene una armadura base de 7, lo que le permite infligir mucho daño a sus objetivos.
Este es un excelente ejemplo de lo útil que es el comandante Slade en batallas de alto rango, con las habilidades Golpe blindado y Perforante otorgadas por Elias Maxx.
Mantaroth (que tiene ataque blindado) también causó mucho daño, pero el Comandante Slade fue claramente quien causó el mayor daño, ya que tiene mayor armadura y poder de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo. En esta batalla, todas mis unidades fueron derrotadas, excepto el Comandante Slade, quien termina la batalla derrotando al dragón de la Calamidad.

MI PRIMERA CARTA BLACK FOIL
Venomante Virid es mi primera y, por ahora, única carta black foil que obtuve al abrir un conclave arcana standard pack. Lo abrí antes de que estuviera disponible el cuarto conflicto: Gnome Time to Die, para poder conseguir al arconte Loving the Moo. Fue una experiencia fantástica y hermosa ver como la carta se sacudia, pensé que sería una carta legendaria, pero en cambio resulto ser una black foil, muchísimo mejor.
Espero que hayan tenido experiencias maravillosas, ya sea jugando o invirtiendo en este juego. O si recientemente han empezado a sumergirse en el asombroso mundo de Splinterlands, les deseo mucha suerte y espero que puedan conseguir cartas increíbles en sus packs.
