Panyin Fan Art Drawing- Holozing [ENG-ESP]

Hello dear Holozing friends, I hope you are all doing very well. I'm back this time to share my latest post with you. In recent weeks, I've been working a lot with aluminum, creating sculptures that were very well received, and I'm deeply grateful for all the support you've given me. Today, I want to share a drawing with you. It's of Panyin, one of the new creatures that were recently released. I wanted to create this drawing with a lot of texture to give it a realistic look. I used the colors I had available, and I'll explain the process below. I hope you like it.

Hola queridos amigos de Holozing, espero que todos se encuentren muy muy bien, vuelvo esta vez para compartir con ustedes mi nueva publicación, las semanas anteriores trabajé mucho con el aluminio haciendo esculturas que fueron bien recibidas y agradezco profundamente el apoyo que me han dado. Hoy en esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes un dibujo, se trata de Panyin, una de las nuevas criaturas que fueron liberadas hace poco, quise hacer este dibujo con mucha textura, para darle realismo, utilicé los colores que tenía disponibles y aquí les comentaré a continuación como fue el proceso, espero que les guste.

PROCESS

I made the sketch on gray cardstock; this color really helps give the drawings a 3D effect. Instead of using a pencil for the sketch, I used white, since I wanted the edges to look shiny. The pose I chose for Panyin was making the peace and love symbols with both hands.

Hice el boceto en cartulina de color gris, este color ayuda mucho para que los dibujos tengan un efecto 3D, en lugar de utilizar lápiz para bocetear lo que hice fue utilizar el color blanco, ya que me interesa que los bordes se vean brillantes. La pose que elegí para Panyin fue hacer los símbolos de amor y paz con ambas manos.

When it came time to apply color, I started with the eyes, which I put a lot of effort into making colorful and vibrant. So I made them a mix of yellow and brown with a large black button in the center. Then I painted the area around the eye, not using black but a brown mixed with ochre, and then I gradually darkened it with brown colors until I used a little black.

Cuando llegó el momento de aplicar color comencé por los ojos, los cuales puse muy empeño en hacerlos coloridos y muy vivos, así que los hice algo amarillos con café con un gran botón negro en el centro. Luego fui pintando la mancha que rodea el ojo, no utilizando el color negro sino un color café mezclado con ocre, y luego iba oscureciendo con colores marrones hasta usar un poco de negro.

I paint the other eye in the same way, just like the spot. I continue drawing the nose, applying the same colors I used for the spots on the eyes. To paint the white part, I use charcoal white; with this color, it's easier for me to draw Panyin's fur and show the relief.

De la misma forma pinto el otro ojo al igual que la mancha. Sigo dibujando la naríz, la cual aplico los mismos colores que habpia utilizado para las manchas en los ojos. Para pintar la parte blanca utilizo el color blanco carboncillo, con este color es más facil para mi poder dibujar el pelaje de Panyin y que se pueda apreciar como queda el relieve.

After painting the face, I began painting both ears as well. I used the same colors as the eyes, but with black in the background to create a gradient effect, while the edges were painted in lighter colors. Then I shaped the mouth, drawing it with a huge smile and adding two white fangs.

Luego de pintar el rostro comencé a pintar también ambas orejas, utilicé los mismos colores de los ojos con la diferencia que en el fondo utilicé color negro para que se viera una degradación, mientras que en los bordes le había puesto colores más claros. Después le fuí dando forma a la boca la cual la dibujé con una enorme sonrisa y agregué dos colmillos blancos.

Next, I started painting the arms. Here, I used light brown colors on the edges, and as I approached the center of the body, I gradually darkened the fur. I continued painting until I reached the other arm, making sure to include the Yin Yang symbol that Panyin has.

Seguidamente comienzo a pintar los brazos, aquí utilicé colors café claros, en los bordes y a medida que me acerca al centro del cuerpo iba oscureciendo el pelaje. Así fui pintando casta alcanzar el otro brazo sin olvidar hacer la forma del símbolo del Ying Yang que tiene Panyin.

I also paint the lower part, or the other half of the symbol, which is white. For this, I use the same white charcoal so that Panyin's hair has some relief and can be appreciated. At the very bottom, I add some light shadows with a gray color, and then I finish by painting the other leg with brown.

Así también voy pintanto la parte inferior o la otra mitad del símbolo que va de color blanco, para eso utilizo el mismo color de carboncillo blanco, para que el pelo de Panyin quede con relieve y se puesa apreciar. En la parte más inferior agrego unas sombras leves con un color gris para luego terminar pintando la otra pierna con color café.

Finally, I refine small details with white paint, especially on the face. I add a dot of paint to each eye to make them look more realistic, and I also add a little shadow to one side of Panyin to make it look even better in 3D.

Para finalizar lo que hago es afinar pequeños detalles con pintura de color blanco, especialmente en el rostro. A cada ojo le agrego un punto de pintura para que puedan quedar más realistas, así también agrego a un lado un poco de sombra a Panyin para que se vea aun mejor en 3D.

FINAL WORK

What do you think of the result? Do you think it looks realistic? Like an animation? Hehehe, I liked the result, especially because I was able to do it with just a few colors and by really making good use of the contrast between light and shadow. That's all for now. ¿Qué les ha parecido el resultado? ¿Creen que luce algo realista? así como una animación? jejeje a mi me gustó el resultado, especialmente porque lo pude hacer con pocos colores y solo utilizando muy bien el contraste entre luces y sombras.
