Wanted to give a short update to this tweet:
I think most users here realize 2024 was harder than we may have expected for our native token, many projects on the blockchain have had to cut funding and focus on survivability and we were not immune to it.
Things started off really well, our project received a lot of delegation support but eventually it was cut in half while the price of Hive kept dwindling making it harder to pay developers and artists with the weekly powerdowns. We had to resort to pausing the progression in certain fields and risking losing artists to the breaks but we are very happy to have gotten lucky with long-term loyal artists and devs for the game and on hive.
I personally want to thank everyone for supporting Holozing in all different ways and especially Hive itself, even at its worst it made it possible for us not only to survive but also continue to progress. Our Hive-devs have been amazing and patient in delaying their pay to make sure the project can focus the funding on game development.
With only one game-dev working on the project and the complex workings of it being implemented for an alpha game it was understandable that it would get delayed but the prices did delay things even further.
I'll update on the things listed on the tweet as a comparison.

We're glad to see a reversal in the markets and hoping for up only soon to speed up development and allow us to invite more devs and helpers to the team. While we aren't too focused on the price of Zing at this time since it doesn't speed up development due to its fairly launched nature, we're looking forward to how it will perform once the game is live and burning of zing comes into play!

its been roughl 9 months since that update on X, and the progress is quite impressive. I remember those days when updates were always released. Hopefully, it speeds up to the part where we get to start playing the game.

2025 sounds like it's going to be awesome! Pretty heavy print right now on Zing for delegations and staking so perfect time for people to jump in and start stacking it before the launch of the game.
yeah honestly kind of surprised the price of zing has been staying up and going up lately after we increased distribution temporarily, especially since I haven't been buying any myself in a while, will be interesting to see what happens next!
Thanks for the update! I'm glad to see at least some progress being made. I know it isn't your project, but what ever happened with Ragnarok?
I think they've ran into some issues with devs which I'm glad we've had more luck in that regard. Last I heard they're definitely still trying though and as I've told them, it'd be one of the only projects I'd consider doing some collabs with given the nature of their start with airdrops to hive holders.

Holozing may help the Hive blockchain in 2025 especially if $ZING is available on exchanges outside of Hive. Is it too optimistic to think $ZING might go that far to 2025?
It depends on volume I guess, but what I'd like to focus more on is getting on dex's and the possibility to switch chains with it easily, at least the token. Other than that we're not looking to pay for exchange listings or "partnerships" etc as there's always a toll on that and it's often take out on the community.
I didn't see the first tweet before, and seeing how we were supposed to be close to the alpha back then really shows how rough 2024 has been. But what's important is that you guys kept working on the game through it, and you still have a lot of supporters. I hope we are all rewarded this coming bull as well.
Yeah I didn't wanna hide that fact, but it's also true that we've added a lot more things to the game compared to our first plans for the alpha so hopefully that'll make it better in the long run!
