La Navidad tiene invadida las diferentes tiendas de decoración y supermercados con tantos elementos decorativos, luces, arbolitos, un sin fin de cosas hermosas para ambientar estas festividades. Y los artesanos y artesanas no podemos evitar contagiarnos de esa energía y crear nuestros propios proyecto.
Hoy realicé unas Coronitas de Navidad para decorar el Árbol de Navidad u otros rincones, en un material que es uno de los consentidos, el FOAMI ESCARCHADO. Quiero mostrarte este diseño de coronitas, hay muchos otros diseños hermosos, pero este me encanta y te regalo el paso a paso en esta publicación... Bienvenidos.
Christmas has invaded decoration stores and supermarkets with so many decorative items, lights, trees, and endless beautiful things to set the mood for the holidays. And we artisans can't help but get caught up in that energy and create our own projects.
Today I made some Christmas wreaths to decorate the Christmas tree or other corners of the house, using one of my favorite materials, FOAMI ESCARCHADO. I want to show you this wreath design. There are many other beautiful designs, but I love this one, and I'm giving you the step-by-step instructions in this post... Welcome.
- Foami Escarchado verde, rojo, dorado y blanco.
- Balines dorados.
- Cinta.
- Cartón.
- Regla, tijera, bolígrafo.
- Silicón caliente.
- Perforador de carpetas.
Green, red, gold, and white glitter foam.
Gold beads.
Ribbon.
Cardboard.
Ruler, scissors, pen.
Hot glue.
Folder hole punch.
Para la estructura utilicé cartón delgado, pero puedes utilizar también el tubo de cartón que queda en el papel sanitario. Yo corté tiras de 1cm de ancho por 20cms de largo, se necesita una tira por coronita de navidad.
Con el Foami verde escarcha hice tiras pero con medida de 2cms de ancho por lo que da el largo del foami, aquí si corte varias. Y ya con estas tiras comenzaré a trabajar.
For the structure, I used thin cardboard, but you can also use the cardboard tube from toilet paper. I cut strips 1 cm wide by 20 cm long; you need one strip per Christmas wreath.
I cut strips from the green frosted foam, but these were 2 cm wide and as long as the foam sheet, so I cut several of these. Now I'm ready to start working with these strips.

Las tiras de cartón las pegué con silicón caliente formando así unas circunferencias. Hice 6 para 6 coronitas que realizaría hoy.
A las tiras de foami les hice cortes continuos por todo lo largo. Y luego, fui rodeando el aro de cartón con la tira, pegando con silicón caliente y dando vueltas asegurándome de no dejar ver el cartón.
I glued the cardboard strips together with hot glue to form circles. I made six for the six crowns I would be making today.
I made continuous cuts along the entire length of the foam strips. Then, I wrapped the strip around the cardboard ring, gluing it with hot glue and turning it around, making sure that the cardboard was not visible.

Tal como se ve en la imagen, se va sobreponiendo el foami en cada vuelta, hasta cubrir toda la vuelta.
En este punto me había decidido realizar también coronitas de color rojo escarchado, así que repetí el proceso con el foami alrededor del cartón.
As you can see in the picture, the foam is layered on each turn until the entire turn is covered.
At this point, I had decided to also make frosted red crowns, so I repeated the process with the foam around the cardboard.

Para poder colocar las coronitas en el lugar que decidamos más adelante, tomé 10cms de cinta, puede ser cordón o lo que tengas disponible, doblé la tira y cubrí las puntas con una tira de foami. Esto lo pegué en lo que será la parte superior de la corona.
Un lacito dorado para decorar las coronitas, con un rectángulo en foami dorado escarcha de 5cms x 2,5cms. Hice unos doblez en el centro, asegurando con unos puntos de silicón caliente.
In order to place the crowns where we decide later, I took 10 cm of ribbon (you can use string or whatever you have available), folded the strip, and covered the ends with a strip of foam. I glued this to what will be the top of the crown.
A gold bow to decorate the crowns, with a 5cm x 2.5cm rectangle of gold glitter foam. I made a fold in the center, securing it with a few dots of hot glue.

Luego, con otra tira del mismo foami dorado, di vuelta en el centro y pegue en la parte trasera, así queda formado el lazo. Por cierto, más adelante tomé la decisión de redondear las esquinas superiores del lazo, se podrán dar cuenta en las fotos.
Then, with another strip of the same gold foam, I turned it in the center and glued it to the back, forming the bow. By the way, later on I decided to round the top corners of the bow, as you can see in the photos.

El diseño de las coronitas de navidad tienen el lazo que acababa de realizar y dos campanitas en foami blanco escarchado, que hice con un círculo de 4cms de diámetro, lo recorté por la mitad y luego pegué sus esquinas para que quede una forma cónica para las campanas. Con un círculo salen las dos campanas de una coronita.
The Christmas wreath design features the bow I had just made and two little bells made of frosted white foam, which I made by cutting a 4 cm diameter circle in half and then gluing the corners together to form a conical shape for the bells. One circle makes two bells for one wreath.

Pegué el lazo y las campanas en la parte superior frontal de la coronita de navidad, y para darle más interés al diseño, le pegué un balín dorado a cada campana.
Me pareció ideal un toque de puntos blancos en las coronitas, simulando o recreando como la nieve. Para esto realicé muchos círculos en foami blanco escarchado, utilizando un perforador de esos que se usan para abrir huecos a las hojas y a las carpetas. Estos los fue pegando en forma aleatoria por todas las coronitas.
I glued the bow and bells to the top front of the Christmas crown, and to make the design more interesting, I glued a gold bead to each bell.
I thought a touch of white dots on the crowns would be ideal, simulating or recreating snow. To do this, I made lots of circles in frosted white foam, using a hole punch of the kind used to make holes in sheets of paper and folders. I stuck these randomly all over the crowns.

Y ya están listas, son muy fáciles de hacer las Coronitas de Navidad con este diseño, haré más adelante otro modelo, pero este me encantó, se ven muy navideñas y divertidas con esos colores y brillos que aporta el material de foami escarchado.
And they're ready! These Christmas crowns are very easy to make with this design. I'll make another model later, but I loved this one. They look very Christmassy and fun with those colors and sparkles provided by the frosted foam material.
Como te mencioné hice 3 Coronitas de Navidad verdes y 3 rojas, estoy pendiente de hacerlas también en color azul y rosadas, porque pienso que se deben de ver hermosas en esos colores y hacen más divertida la decoración de mi arbolito.
As I mentioned, I made three green Christmas wreaths and three red ones. I'm planning to make some in blue and pink too, because I think they'll look beautiful in those colors and make my tree decorations even more fun.
