Esta idea de hacer hรญbridos de piรฑatas/canastas me la dio una vecina muy querida. Gracias a ella en Agosto me enterรฉ que desde 2019 es un elemento popular que los padres comisionan para sus hijos.
๐บ๐ธ ~ Long before I finished this project I was already dying to share it here, I think this (speaking of crafting) is the most fun I had in all of October, and while I regret not accomplishing all my goals that month, editing this today makes me stupid happy (๏พโ`โฅ)
This idea of making piรฑata/basket hybrids was given to me by a dear neighbor. Thanks to her in August I learned that since 2019 it's a popular item that parents commission for their kids.

El plan original (sugerido por mi vecina, que es dueรฑa de una tienda) era que yo hiciera muchas de estas cosas y ella me ayudarรญa a venderlas porque tiene mucha afluencia de clientes; pero tuve algunas crisis migraรฑosas y pase 2 semanas haciendo el mรญnimo de actividades. Necesitaba descansar.
Peeeero yo me propuse que MรNIMO debรญa hacer 4 piรฑata/canasta (2 que eran un encargo, y 2 extra para @Vanuzza y @Pigritia), era un proyecto que no querรญa descartar, sobre todo porque tengo una carpeta llena de vectores preciosos y apenas pude fabricar 2 โ(ใป-ใป)โ
The original plan (suggested by my neighbor, who owns a store) was for me to make a lot of these things and she would help me sell them because she has a lot of customers; but I had some migraine attacks and spent 2 weeks doing the bare minimum of activities. I needed to rest.
Buuuut I set out that MINIMUM I had to make 4 piรฑata/baskets (2 that were a commission, and 2 extra for @Vanuzza and @Pigritia), it was a project I didn't want to discard, especially since I have a folder full of beautiful vectors and I could barely make 2 โ(ใป-ใป)โ

El resultado fue muchรญsimo mejor de lo que esperaba, estas canastas pueden soportar golpes y caรญdas sin deformarse.
Pero si quieren agregar un extra de resistencia pueden cortar tiras de papel periรณdico y reforzar las uniones por fuera con pegamento para madera.
The result was much better than I expected, these baskets can withstand bumps and drops without warping.
But if you want to add extra strength you can cut strips of newspaper and reinforce the joints on the outside with wood glue.
Todas las piezas del rostro las recortรฉ utilizando una cartulina algo oscura para lograr colores mรกs oscuros cuando fueran forradas con el papel seda y crepe.
I cut out all the pieces of the face using a somewhat dark cardboard to achieve darker colors when they were lined with the tissue paper and crepe.

Aunque siendo muy, muy sincera, proyectos como estos nacen y mueren como diversiรณn para mรญ, nunca pienso seriamente en esto como posible negocio; simplemente me entretiene y disfruto el proceso.

Although being very, very honest, projects like these are born and die as fun for me, I never seriously think of this as a possible business; I just enjoy myself and the process.
