Being safe and sewing

Happy#needleworkmonday to us all. I am so delighted to see you all and read all your interesting works on this safe day😉.
Well it's being heard all over that the need to stay safe during this period cannot be over emphasized.
One way to do so is to have a covering, mask for the face to help protect and prevent any sort of infection.
I went online and searched High and low till I found some patterns on how to make masks seeing as I was pretty much a novice in that regard, thankfully, there were a lot of patterns and styles to familiarise me with the methods such as

5 Free DIY Face Mask Tutorials using Fabric — SewCanShe | Free Sewing ...

Face Mask Pattern - Free Sewing Pattern • Craft Passion https://www.sewcanshe.com › 5... https://www.craftpassion.com › face...

I worked with those and I got good results

They are so easy to follow up on and even have printable patterns online...
I'm thinking of making more of those, for my friends and family members now that I'm pleased with the results 😉

Great to hear from you again! I hope everything's as well as it can be in times like these.

Sewing masks is something none of us imagined doing but now we do it and feel lucky that we know how to sew and have machine for it.

Great to hear from you too @muscara! Yeah we feel fortunate, you have a mask making machine! Wow! That is wonderful

Hello @wondermaey. how lovely to see you 😍

Lovely to hear from you @shanibeer, hope you're doing great

I'm fine, @wondermaey, everything is okay here and, as far as I know, all my friends and family are okay. Are you sewing much these days? It will be lovely to see some of your creations.

That's good to hear @shanibeer, I'll be sure to put up any work I make☺️

So nice to see you here on hive and good you are safe. This virus is really frightening and I hope that the mask will help to keep us safe.

I'm glad to be here too@neumannsalva yeah the mask is a step to being safe, I'm happy to see you and your wonderful posts, I think you were daring with the Peter Pan collar. I dislike magazines patterns too lol... It's why I go online ☺️

Welcome back @wondermaey! So nice to see you here! Hope you are safe and well there. Yes, mask is like the thing to make nowadays. I did my share of mask too until my machine decided to go on a coma. Yours turned out really well. I like the string tie instead of the elastic which hurts the top of the ear most time. Oo I like the ring with stone on your finger :)
