Espero se encuentren muy bien. En esta oportunidad les quiero compartir mi experiencia al comenzar un curso en educación de adultos, y este curso en específico versa sobre la pintura sobre tela y la elaboración de bolsos y cojines.
I hope you are doing well. In this opportunity I want to share with you my experience in starting a course in adult education, and this specific course is about painting on fabric and making bags and cushions.
La primera tarea que se nos ha encomendado a realizar ha sido la elaboración de un bolso, y este precisamente que les he venido a mostrar en la imagen. Ahora bien, deseo contar como fue que lo elaboré y cuáles han sido los materiales que utilicé.
The first task we were given was to make a bag, and this is precisely the one I have come to show you in the image. Now, I want to tell you how I made it and what materials I used.
Materiales: // Materials:
Papel Bond // Bond paper
Tijeras // Scissors
Hilo // Thread
Aguja // Needle
Tela // Fabric
Pintura de varios colores // Paint of various colors
Lápiz // Pencil
Comenzamos haciendo el patrón del bolso sobre la lámina de papel Bond, esto lo hicimos en clase.
We started by making the pattern of the bag on the Bond paper sheet, this we did in class.
Seguidamente, ubicaríamos el patrón sobre la tela, y poder cortar la tela con la mayor precisión posible, cosa que siempre es un reto para mí. Mi pulso no es el mejor que digamos.
Next, we would place the pattern on the fabric, and be able to cut the fabric as accurately as possible, which is always a challenge for me. My pulse is not the best to say the least.
Luego, procedí a coserlo con la aguja y el hilo, además fui al taller de costura de mi hermana para ayudarme con su máquina de coser. Después de haber cocido el bolso, vino el proceso artístico. Era momento de decorarlo, mi hermana me sugirió que le pintara algún pajarito. Y me animé a pintar algo no tan complicado, y como estamos en el mes del amor y la amistad, debía hacer algo romántico, aunque fuese solo un poco.
Then, I proceeded to sew it with needle and thread, plus I went to my sister's sewing workshop to help me with her sewing machine. After the bag was sewn, came the artistic process. It was time to decorate it, my sister suggested me to paint a little bird on it. And I decided to paint something not so complicated, and since we are in the month of love and friendship, I had to do something romantic, even if it was just a little bit.
