Hi dear Hive users ✨💕!

Con mi inminente regreso a clases, llega también el tener que llevar almuerzo a la universidad y tener que pensar en donde guardar los cubiertos 🤣, por ésta razón y pensando en mi yo del futuro, he decido hacerme éste sencillo y facil de hacer porta cubiertos de tela, con la finalidad no solo de saber donde están mis cubiertos cuando los estoy buscando al momento de comer sino también tener un lugar donde guardarlos luego de utilizarlos sin pensar que ensuciare todo el bolso, así que aquí les dejo éste paso a paso que espero pueda serles útil 😉.

With my imminent return to school, comes also having to take lunch to the university and having to think about where to keep the cutlery 🤣, for this reason and thinking about my future self, I decided to make this simple and easy to make fabric cutlery holder, in order not only to know where my cutlery is when I'm looking for it when I'm eating but also to have a place to keep it after using it without thinking that I will dirty the whole bag, so here I leave this step by step that I hope it can be useful 😉.

🍴 MATERIALES || MATERIALS 🍴

2 telas de diferentes colores o estampados.
Alfileres.
Tijera de tela.
Hilo.
Aguja o Máquina de coser.

2 fabrics of different colours or patterns.
Pins.
Fabric scissors.
Thread.
Needle or sewing machine.

🍴 COMENCEMOS || LET'S GET STARTED 🍴

Comencé cortando dos rectángulos de 44cm x 17cm, uno en cada tela respectivamente, además corte una tira de 45cm x 4cm de la tela que se escoja como la externa, se aconseja que la tela que va a tener contacto directo con los cubiertos sea impermeable para que facilite limpiarla o lavarla.

I started by cutting two 44cm x 17cm rectangles, one in each fabric respectively, and then cut a 45cm x 4cm strip of the fabric chosen as the outer fabric. It is advisable that the fabric that will have direct contact with the cutlery is waterproof to make it easy to clean or wash.

Junte los derechos de ambas telas y cosí por todo el alrededor dejando solo un pequeño espacio sin coser por donde daría la vuelta a la pieza, luego de esto realice un pespunte por toda la orilla, cerrando así el espacio que había dejado abierto. Además tome la tira de tela y la cosí para hacerla más delgada.

I joined the right sides of both fabrics and sewed all around, leaving only a small unsewn space where I would turn the piece, then I stitched all around the edge, closing the space I had left open. I also took the strip of fabric and sewed it to make it thinner.

En la parte inferior doble hacia adentro 14cm de tela y cosí por los lados, luego dividí este espacio en tres para realizar los compartimientos donde irán los cubiertos. Por la parte externa y lo más centrado posible cosí la tira que había hecho, justo a la mitad de toda su longitud para formar dos tiras.

At the bottom I folded 14cm of fabric inwards and sewed along the sides, then divided this space into three to make the compartments where the cutlery will go. On the outside and as centrally as possible, I sewed the strip I had made, right in the middle of its entire length to form two strips.

LISTOOOOO!!!!👏👏, y así de sencillo es realizar este practico porta cubiertos de tela, creo que todos los que hemos tenido que llevar comida a nuestros trabajos o en mi caso a la universidad, estaremos de acuerdo en que tener donde llevar nuestros cubiertos resulta muy cómodo, sobre todo cuando ya los hemos usado y no queremos que anden rodando por nuestro bolso cartera, así que con esta sencilla manualidad, ya podemos tener esto solucionado.

READY!!!!👏👏, I think that all of us who have had to take food to our jobs or in my case to the university, will agree that having a place to carry our cutlery is very convenient, especially when we have already used them and we don't want them to be rolling around in our handbag, so with this simple craft, we can have this solved.
