So good to be back posting again my craft which is crocheting. Longtime I have not posted in the community.
Last month of July was my birth month I really thought I can make another top for me but hubby's of health is not good up to now, so, I just did not make any top for me which was my tradition long time ago, to make any thing I could wear. Hubby even asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I told him never mind it was not important even if I did have a new dress or top to wear. No problem. Then, one day, I think that was end of July I saw a post about Taylor Swift dress, hmm, I have a crush on it. I told hubby can I buy yarns like Taylor Swift's dress? I showed it to him.Thanks, he said, "order it right away." It arrived right away, ahahaha! Happy with the colors!
Here is my inspirstion...Taylor Swift's Dress.
I started right away my project. But, not a dress, I will make a top, short sleeves with a hoodie. Then, not all granny stitch but with one V stitch in one line like this inspiration.
I draw the top and the outline after I made some rows.
All stitch are made of extended double crochet for a longer stitch and can reach my goal of 22 inches width.
Here is my progress though slow because of house chores and we always travel go to the doctor for hubby's checked up.
The goodness of crocheting for our own use, you can work slowly, not like made to orders can be stressful because of the deadline.
Yesterday, it was again hubby's checked up with the Gastroenterologist, while travelling I crochet during stop light and traffic time. Here is now my progress with my project.
Hope to finish this as soon as possible to see the result of my own design especially the hoodie,my first time to make s hoodie.I plan also to make for hubby's t shirt same colorway.
