Hello, Hoomanss! I apologize for not writing about my weekly events as I've been busy these past few weeks. Our final exam is coming up quickly, so even though I just finished our midterm exam last October, I'm starting to overthink and worry a lots. Our lesson plans, practical research, assignments, fees, deadlines, projects, and presentations are all necessary for us to prepare before the finals. As a student in teacher education, I have had a busy month. Anyway, aside from that, I run to school for over twelve hours every day. I was able to carry on with my crocheting, which also served as a stress relief. Actually, the one thing that I could always count on as a stress reliever was my crochet tools.
I came to the realization that I prefer to make most of the crochets that I design myself, and that I am unable to make those if they are requests or commissions. It's funny how I can crochet things on my own and sell them, but I've never thought to do the exact same thing for other people if they want me to crochet something they really like. Perhaps this is because I'm too cautious and feel a little guilty if I can't satisfy their expectations.
I've been crocheting this for the past two days because I can't finish it in one day given that I have a class. Since I had just begun with red and green yarn, I had the idea for a strawberry. I never imagined things would turn out this way. I named it a tumbler sleeve with a strawberry theme. I made this and brought it to school to show my classmates. They thought it was cool, so Nang Myren came up to me and bought it. It was actually modeled by my friend Cres before Nang Myren could buy it; she is also my biggest supporter. I was flattered that someone liked and purchased it from me, of course, since I was really expecting I'd be able to take it home and sell it online since I assumed no one would be interested.
I then made these strawberries and cherries the following morning; it was a last-minute order because Ate Jade wanted to bring these before her flight to Manila. This was made for two consecutive nights because she will give it to her friends. It's really exciting to make these, especially when someone recognizes your hard work.
So for those of you who love to crochet as much as I do. You probably don’t need much of an excuse to consider a whole day or weekend of pure crochet. Every individual is different, and crochet can help to promote positive wellbeing for each of them. So, why do you hesitate? Discover the benefits of crocheting for your physical and mental well-being, and perhaps you too can improve not only your own life but also the lives of those around you.
I thought I was the only one who had the fear of not meeting customers' expectations. Nice strawberry keyholder btw
Awee thankyou so much, stay motivated and on making beautiful crchets also.🥰
