Hey there my dear readers! I'm here with another blog about my newest crochet creation. I'm just gonna let my words fall out about the experience I had while making this bouquet hehe. Thanks a lot for tuning in mg fellow Hivers!
If you read some of my blogs where I mentioned crocheting, it is known that I love making crochet gifts for the people I love. To this day, I love making stuff for my loved ones! A good friend of mine's birthday was coming up, so I decided that I would make a present for her.
I decided that I would make a present but I couldn't decide what kind of present I would make for her. Being a creative person with a "how hard could it be" mindset made making the decision so much harder. Having an infinite amount of choices just fried my indecisive brain lol.
I held off deciding for a few days, until 3 days before the due date (my friend's birthday). I was scrolling through TikTok and I saw a video where they created a bouquet out of a famous filter on TikTok: the Flower Language Filter.
THE FLOWER LANGUAGE FILTER BOUQUET
It's a filter where there's a keyboard and you type a word or a name and each letter corresponds with a specific flower. When you're done typing up the word/name you have in mind, a bouquet is finally formed. This trend was quite popular around the last couple of months and I thought that it would make a great gift for my friend!
My friend has four letters in her name. So there were four different types of flowers. If you want to try and guess my friend's name before the grand reveal, use the filter on TikTok and better pay attention to my clues coming up ahead!
1ST LETTER: FORGET-ME-NOTS
Scientific name: Myosotis
Forget-me-nots, written in its name, symbolizes remembrance. It doesn't just symbolize remembrance, it also represents true love and devotion. These symbols coincidentally match my feelings towards my friend.
She has been my friend for about 5 years or so. We were classmates for 4 of those years. Now that we're in senior high, we got separated in terms of classrooms lol. With that in mind, I don't want her to forget me. She's special to me, she has been through thick and thin with me and I hope it continues for as long as we both live hehe.
2ND LETTER: HAREBELLS
Scientific Name: Campanula rotundifolia
In Scotland where the Harebell originates, it symbolizes consistency and everlasting love. It is also associated with folklore, a mysterious part of the flower. Harebells are typically blue, but with the power of crochet, I was able to make pink Harebells lol.
Having a constant is particularly hard to find. I want her to know that I am here and I also want the people who she holds dear to always be her constant. For her to know that she is never alone. I want her to be reminded that I'm always going to be there for her and I'm only one call away (pwede rasad one message away lol).
3RD LETTER: TULIPS
Scientific Name: Tulipa
Tulips are actually one of my favorite flowers. To specify, the filter chose pink Tulips. Pink Tulips symbolize good wishes and love.
This friend of mine is still exploring her way into the dating scene, I only hope that she enjoys the experience. It really is fun, but getting a broken heart from time to time is inevitable. I wish her all the love she deserves and I hope she finally gets to be with someone worthy of her.
4TH LETTER: PRIMROSES
Scientific Name: Primula
Primroses are commonly the color yellow or pale yellow. They symbolize youth, innocence, and new beginnings.
With that, I would like my friend to cherish her life while she's still young. Having a YOLO (You Only Live Once) type of mindset helps a lot. I want her to know that failing at something doesn't mean the end of the world. The good thing about life is that we get to decide what to do with it, even in small ways. If you're reading this: You are a brilliant young woman, everything will be okay.
Now that we're at the end of this blog, I'd like to reveal the bouquet that I've created:
If you've read this far my dear readers, it would only be right if I reveal the name of my friend right? The name of my friend is Jade, her name is as pretty as the bouquet!
Fun Fact 1: Jade and I have the same first names lol. That's the reason why I call her by her second name.
Fun Fact 2: my name and her name when mixed is a popular GL (Girl's Love) ship here in the Philippines which is funny HAHAHAHAH
Thank you for reaching the end of my blog my dear Hivers! Regardless of gender, we all lowkey want to receive a bouquet at least once in our lives. I hope that those who haven't received a bouquet yet will eventually receive one in this lifetime or the next. Thank you again for reading this blog, I'll see you on the next one!
To Jade: If you're reading this Jade, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO YOU JADEYYYYY. I hope you enjoyed reading this blog. And surprise! I post blogs on the internet lolz.

Me encanta que cada flor haya sido seleccionaba por su significado en especifico, muy al lenguaje de las flores. Un hermoso ramo de flores eterno, así como de seguro será su amistad. Hermoso trabajo 👏
I love that each flower was selected for its specific meaning, very much in the language of flowers. A beautiful everlasting bouquet of flowers, just as your friendship is sure to be. Beautiful work 👏
