Hello Nature Lovers !

I would like to cordially invite you to another great week of the Amazing Nature Contest. There were already so many excellent entries regarding how amazing nature is in the past episodes, thanks to all of you, but there is still so much more to see! ^^ To participate in the #amazingnature contests just write up a post and explain how amazing nature is for you personally ^^

What is the Purpose of the Contest ?

I am a huge nature-lover and really enjoy taking pictures of all the lovely things that surround me every day, no matter if plants, animals or landscapes. Hive to be a brilliant place to watch these while simultaneously reading and learning about nature from all over the world. There is such a diversity of great content, thanks to all of you, from different perspectives and out of various motivations. This contest attempts to collect all those beautiful snapshots and their amazing stories in a weekly compilation so that you all can benefit from the beauty that we are facing all the time, but so often are not able to appreciate in the modern and fast paced times we are living in.

#amazingnature is at home in the DNA-Discord, a organization run by people for the people, with the aim to foster and densify nature-appreciation in the blockchain. DNA is also the home of the #featheredfriends and the @fungilovers communities.

Contest Rules :

• POST your entry INTO the AMAZING NATURE COMMUNITY. You use the #amazingnature TAG whenever you like to ^^
• CLEARLY MENTION that your post is an ENTRY for this contest.
• All pictures have to be your own. You can use the amazing nature banner if you like or create your own.
• STATE IN THE TEXT why those pictures are representing YOUR AMAZING NATURE. This is an ESSENTIAL part of this contest.
• Drop the LINK to your post IN THE COMMENTS. You can add a picture if you like. It is NECESSARY as I have to post a link in Discord on Friday, 5 days later for voting and also for my own compiling purposes.
• The entry window is open for ~ 5 DAYS. Watch out for the -CLOSED in the title.

If you miss the entry, please wait for the next round. As I have to work and also to manage a family there are no fixed UTC times.The window can open in a wide range between 10 am - 10 pm and also close accordingly ^^

• The AMAZING NATURE COMMUNITY is there FOR ALL POSTS ABOUT THE AMAZING NATURE AROUND YOU. We would highly appreciate it if you share your great nature content there with us! .. The contest is located there as an integrated part and special community feature ^^

Possible Topics :

As nature covers an incredible wide range there is really anything possible. Amazing Natures categories could be anything from the following topics:

• Geology
• Landscapes
• Philosophy
• ... Surprise us ^^

I will present all participants in the entries section of the announcement posts that will be published roughly one week later on Sunday (depending on my time schedule this may shift ^^). This way you will have a nice compilation of them all. As an special feature, the new title picture will be created from the entry of the contest winner. This time it is from @keuudeip.

How are the Winners chosen ?

The voting on the winners will be done by the whole DNA community. Therefore we created a special contest channel in the DNA Discord (Amazing Nature Contest). Here I will post the announcement post including the winners (Announcements) EACH SUNDAY together with all your entries (Entries) EACH FRIDAY. Every member of DNA will be able to assign "voting emojis" under the entries for 24 HOURS. In the end those three with the most are the lucky winners. I will engage as a judge in case of a draw ^^

The winner of this weeks contest with his very first entry is @keuudeip who entered the contest with some beautiful seashells."Another seashore, another seashell." Seashell are the shells of sea creatures used as a protective outer layer. At this point they have already died or been preyed upon by other animals and their shells then stranded on the seashore sand due to waves or rising tides or have been trapped by fishing nets and broad to the shore by the fishermen that threw them away.These seashells have their own inner beauty, both in terms of shape and color, and @keuudeip could not hide the admiration for them. Thank you very much for entering the contest and for sharing these beautiful shells with us ^^

The contest netry from @nelinoeva show us some great pictures from #featheredfriends, such as the Eurasian Wryneck, Starling, Passerine Bird and the Spotted flycatcher. They were taking on the road of "Via Pontica". It was once an ancient road built by the Romans alongside the Black Sea coast starting from Byzantium (now Istanbul) through Bulgaria up to Romania.Now the name Via Pontica stands for the second largest route for migratory birds in Europe, a well now route for birdwatchers from all over the world ^^Thank you very much for this feathery entry from you ;)

Here we have another entry from @porters from one of her visits to the nearby ponds and we are not disappointed for there were a number of flocks of ducks and duck families. Her visit even got got an extra surprise as flocks of Geese started coming in landing on the pond followed by a huge flock of Canada Geese and then by Snow Geese, which created a real goosenado! Thank you very much for another entry from you ^^
